When we looked for an assisted care facility for my wife's father in the Chico area, we literally visited all of the available facilities in the area and chose Westmont. Since then we have had no regrets of this decision. Whenever we visit my father-in-law at the Inn we are always impressed by the friendly and caring staff. The food is great also. Love this place! The energy at the Lodge is positive, open and pleasant! It's clean, the staff is always willing to help, the residents are welcoming and the food is delicious. The landscape and area is beautiful and well taken care of. Come visit!

I wanted to move my 92 yr old mother closer to me but she was not sure she was ready to leave her home of 35 years. The staff at The Terraces helped me step by step. After our visit at The Terraces my mother was a little more agreeable to the idea of the move. My mom now has been at The Terraces for 6 months and she loves it. She participates in many of the activities and has made new friends. The food is excellent and the staff is very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend The Terraces to any one looking for a safe, clean and friendly place for their parents.

There are so many things I enjoy and like about living at the Terraces: Residents have the opportunity to eat in the dining room and choose what they want to eat but also to choose whom to eat with. This is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with new residents and share information.

Six days a week exercise classes are available in a variety of ways. We have Silver Sneakers, Zoom with a leader, a leader in person and videos, all having “sit and fit” exercises. In addition, a yoga leader and line dancing. I find the exercise classes very easy, fun and good for us.

A nice part of all the advantages at the Terraces is that is completely up to the individual whether they want to participate. There are stimulating classes where we gather and sing familiar songs; Telling Your Story when we listen to stories residents share as well as sharing any story about our own lives; and learning in a class, How to “Staying Mentally Sharp”. In addition, there are many different opportunities for games and card playing.
