My husband and I volunteer for a couple rescues and support many more and the group of volunteers with Wagging Dog Rescue are some of the most dedicated people who live for helping animals in need. As an all volunteer organization there never feels like there is enough time but they move mountains to help animals and educate humans! I highly recommend them just be patient. It’s a quality not quantity organization.

After taking in a dog whose owner could no longer care for her I was overwhelmed with the task of finding her a suitable home. I reached out to Wagging dog rescue for help. They responded quickly and were more than happy to help me find a home for this middle aged pup in need. I’m now on my second foster dog with Wagging Dog and I’m so thankful to have met this wonderful group of people dedicated to helping any animal in need in their spare time. I would recommend them to anyone as they are a quality operation with the animals best interest in heart.

If your looking to help save a innocent life or volunteer I strongly recommend Wagging Dog Rescue. My husband and I were not able to adopt yet so we had an opportunity to foster a sweet little dog and after he found his fur-ever home! It was great knowing we were part of that. Heather worked with us and made us comfortable along the way with all questions. All volunteers are true animal lovers and I know first hand this really is a wonderful non-profit organization.

A few years ago, I started following WDR and its rescue efforts on social media. I then took the leap and started fostering with the organization (my heart belongs to the dogs, but the group has a great program for cats too) I can't say enough good things about this group of compassionate and dedicated people working together to help animals in need. If you're looking to adopt or volunteer, search no further!

Love this group and the work they do! One of the most thorough rescue groups out there. Every dog sees a veterinarian and they do not release a dog until they feel it is ready. They really provide a quality service.

I'm sure they mean well. They had me waiting for 3 weeks to adopt a dog. Only to find out by email, they had 25 people lined up for one dog. I understand caution, but this was ridiculous. The idea is to get the dog adopted, not to hold on to them unnecessarily for weeks on end. 25 people do not need to be on hold, and preparing their homes at the same time for one dog, I wouldn't do this heartbreaking process again.

I adopted my little dog from WDR in 2012. The best decision I ever made and the best rescue group around. They care about each and everyone of their rescues as well as the new mom/dad family. Thank you WDR!

I love this rescue so much. I have followed their rescue efforts and community outreach for years. Last year I started volunteering with them by transporting animals and fostering dogs. The more I get to know the people involved, the more I love the work they do!
