My mother-in-law was at the Villas for approximately a year and a half. Through that time they had many special events for the residents to enjoy. The staff was always very supportive and kind (even when I wasn't at my best) and showered her with love. We were blessed to not only have mom close to home but for her to have had such great care!. Thank you to all the staff for your efforts in making her stay enjoyable and memorable.

Right when you enter Villas of San Bernardino the wonderful smell instantly gets your attention…it smells awesome. After visiting so many communities, it was so refreshing to walk into a place that didn’t smell of urine: I must say that Executive Director Kenya is the BEST! He helped me calm down my 90 year old father who was giving me a hard time about the finances. Kenya instantly stepped in and resolved the issue to where my father ended up moving in a week earlier! It brought me to tears because my sister and I have been battling with my father for two years to move into a senior assisted community. I’m excited to see my father meet new friends and become active in the community.

My mom has been living at the Villas for several years, and she loves it. I am also extremely happy with the facility. There are a lot of activities for the residents to stay active with. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly.

Two staff members especially stand out to me. Kenya, the facility director, is incredibly helpful and hands-on. When my mom had to go to the hospital, he helped with sorting things out and checking on her, even after hours.

Dulce Lopez has also been extremely helpful in coordinating care when needed. I live out of town, but I never worry about my mom's care because Dulce is always on top of things.

I have had nothing but good experiences so far, and when an occasional concern pops up, they address it promptly. It is a huge relief to have my mom at the Villas. She is happy there.

My father has been a resident of The Villas since 2019. Absolutely, hands down, they have been so very accommodating and kind to our Dad and to our family. Dad’s disease has progressed more recently, and Dulce has done everything in her power to help him transition through the very difficult dementia & Alzheimer’s. She has been instrumental in making sure our family, and mostly our Dad-feel taken care of. The other employees at the Villas, including the caregivers, always deliver the utmost warmth, and understanding when dealing with his needs. I recommend the San Bernardino Villas to any family needing a place that makes its residents feel like it is their home. I cannot express enough how much Dulce, and The Garden’s Team, have done on behalf of our dear dad. Thank you Villas so much from the whole Shiffer Family!!!!

Visited a family friend here a few times. Today, however was different… movie day! To which I had the pleasure of meeting a few of her associates, even shared some laughs watching “Due date”
“no one else I wanted to see but you.”

Staff members are amazing. Always there to lend a helping hand and show such loving kindness and compassion to residents. My brother has Parkinson’s and the staff show him understanding and respect as they care for his many needs. I am always grateful that his room is kept tidy and fresh. I happened to visit my brother during lunch and was excited to see staff deliver a big beautiful cake! Everyone joined in and sang happy birthday to celebrate the 99th birthday of a lovely lady. Everyone enjoyed some cake and my brother said it was absolutely delicious! They treat residents like family!

Employees are all so friendly. My Aunt has not been down to the dining room and kitchen staff sent me with good wishes for her health and that missed her.

The staff at Villas of San Bernardino really cares about their residents. My mother and father have been there for three years. They are compassionate and many times have done more than they are required to do. I appreciate the executive director and staff taking time to chat with my parents. The Executive Director ensures that they have enough med tech personnel to take care of all and respond timely. The food is good and they have several meals to choose from. Transportation provided for medical appointments is a wonderful benefit. The facility is comfortable and kept clean. I am confident my parents are being taken care of which brings me peace.
