I lived here for three years. It was honestly really lovely. Tons of storage. Maintenance got back to me right away. Great pool and gym. Quiet place to live. I never leave reviews but thought it would be worth it. Only downside is the highway noise and no side walks outside the complex. There are deer if you walk down the street at sunset!

Jeff was great in helping us get our new place and I look forward to moving in soon. I got the apartment sight unseen and decided to live here due to how nice and well-kept the grounds are. I got my keys and did my move-in inspection and I was not disappointed, also really stoked for the full-size washer/dryer in its own laundry room (most places are stack and shoved into a closet). We are moving from an 1100 square foot 2 BR in Troy to a 1BR here and I am not at all concerned about storage or if my things will fit, there is a ton of storage/closet space. Also....this place is really close to Lake Erie and super easy access to hwy 75! Can't wait!!

We have lived here for awhile now and I wanted to leave a review because our experience here has been so good. The rent is very good for the area and the staff are absolutely amazing, every single one of them.

The community is fantastic and because of that we are able to enjoy the pool as well as other activities in the area much more than some other places we have lived in. I just wanted to say that we appreciate the time we have spent here and it has been because of the staff.

This is the best apartment complex I've been to in the South Detroit area. The place is beautiful, the pool area is nice and well maintained, and I've never felt unsafe living here even with having a wife and a young daughter.
Management is excellent and are always on top of us. Jeff is very cool to talk when you see him around the complex.
I could not recommend this place enough if it is in your price range!

Jeff was great from the time I moved in to the time I moved out. He was always attentive to my requests and made sure everything got done in a timely manner and always answered my questions. Maintenance was always prompt even for the minor things that came up. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and wouldn’t hesitate to live there again, it’s a quiet well-maintained place with a family feel.

The only one thing I can think to work on was the cleanliness of the apartment when I moved in, specifically pet hair. I picked up about 5 vacuum containers worth of hair the first few days around the carpet and edges of walls and stairs. I only say this because it was a lot that was left.

I highly recommend village place, and the pricing is super reasonable too! Overall great experience.

I’ve been a Village Place for three years, and I have no complaints. Front office staff is very attentive, and maintenance rocks. My neighbors are nice, and I feel safe in my apartment. Grounds are nice, except for a “few” folks who don’t pick up after their pets. You always see people out walking, and running all times of day and night. Great place to live!

This complex is an amazing place to live, I would highly it. I left because of my work situation, but definitely looked for a place similar to this complex when I moved. I lived in the back half of the complex but it was still easy to walk to clubhouse (at front) for gym or pool. The gym is small but nicely maintained and I have never had an issue with too many people in there at once. The complex is quiet, neighbors are considerate, parking is plentiful and I never had any issues with crime. I had amazon packages by my door for a couple of days over a weekend a few times and never had any issues. The apartments are well maintained and spacious. When I did have a maintenance issue, the on-site maintenance crew was quick and effective at resolving the issue. The price of the apartments was very competitive with the area and included amenities. This complex has the added benefit of a high quality of life and peace of mind.

I’ve lived in Village Place for three years now and will be staying on another year. Jeff in the office and Jeff J who is in charge of the maintenance dies a fantastic job!! Everyone in the office is great and they keep up ensuring the community is well manicured and clean , handle any complaints/maintenance issues quickly and promptly. The pool and area are very nice and also very well maintained. I love having my balcony as well as an in unit washer and dryer.
The location close to 75 and 275 as well as several metro and state parks is just another perk if these apartments. Looking forward to another year!!
