I love this VFW! however this morning I was on my way there when I was accosted by one of your local law enforcement . Rude little cuss , I understand there isn’t much for police to do on an average day but harassing citizens shouldn’t be on their list. Especially veterans , FYI i was in town helping another veteran get their car fixed ! Not cool

Kenny, thank you for making my trip through the chow line an adventure. The turkey sandwich meal is delicious and my granddaughter loves it too. Quiet but very pleasant atmosphere the few times I've been here. ?

Would be a goose egg but had to do a star to comment..I never do this but I refuse to let this go. I'm a Army vet. Crippled up and won't bother with details. Came in to spend month, first time here. Came to have a beer, meet a few brothers and enjoy Christmas dinner. Had my stool prop (for leg) very rudely removed and was told that I couldn't drink here. I nicely mentioned that I was a veteran and member and RUDELY again was told I was required to be a member at this particular post. First time out this far west and I tell ya..you people should be ashamed. Have a "full nail in right leg(no knee) and Bones and material removed from left foot. Right leg does not bend. My wife and I were polite and dressed for the occasion. Could understand if we stunk, came in belingerant and begging. What the hell did I fight for. Even the Damn vfw has lost their mind. For the record.... the commander did apologize but no thanks.

Literally called to ask if they allowed packages to be shipped to them as I'm a vet on the road and would be in the area in a week or two. The bartender handed the phone to the commander and said with attitude "someones pestering about something" and he said "oh one of those". I literally asked a one sentence question...

If the answer was no then ok not a big deal. The commander hung up on me when I called them out on their disrespectful tone. Really was no reason for any of that, no need to be rude.

Really friendly VFW post. They offer breakfast daily, Monday thru Friday with a Fish Fry on Friday's and various dinners during the week, all subject to change of course.
Bartenders are volunteers so don't forget to tip.
