Vets Returning Home is a place of healing, and restoration. I had absolutely nowhere to go, and VRH staff open the doors for me without hesitation. While here it has been more like a family, not like living in other shelters. Here at Vets Returning Home we call each other brother and sister, encouragement of one another is always at the forefront of our minds.

I've been able to heal here as well as received much needed medical attention, because of the services and resources provided I've been able to get my life back on track!

Thank you VRH and Ms. Bower

I am disabled and became homeless. This organization has taken me in and has supported me like family. The people that work here and the other guest are great. Although I am at a low point in life but I am happy because of this place. They feed us well, give us a place to stay, they provide counselors and other help so we cannot fail to improve ourselves and our situation.

I am a nine yr USAF Veteran. I served 8 years overseas. Vets Ret Home, and Sandy B. Treated me better than my own mother/family ever has. They cared for me, when I had nobody to turn to coming back from Kosovo. I am forever a part of the family here, and would do anything they needed should they ask in the future. The VA should take notes on how well this place is run, and how many they help! Instead, the va buys bigscreen tvs and art for their walls, while vets still suffer. Is this place perfect? No. No place is. You make it work for you. This place gave me the rest + connections to succeed, make a plan, and move forward to progress. I got to help lots of Veterans during my stay here, and it impacted my life in a profound way. Thank you for everything! 😇😇
