Both my parents are in this facility and they are not being taken care of correctly! My mother is always needing to be changed. She has had 3 utis in the last 5 months. She is not bathed correctly. My father complains to the aids and they get angry with him. They complain about the food always being served to them cold and not very pleasing.

I have a really good friend that lives here. When I 1st moved in it was hard for him because he was use to being independent. But after settling in he grew to love this place. The place is always clean. The staff is always eager to help. In the food is not that bad

I’ve been visiting a friend here for years. It’s a nice home and I wish the state would spend more money on the food for the veteran’s here. They deserve the very best.

This is a park like setting. Proud to honour our men and women who help protect our freedom. I feel humble when I talk to some of these men who gave so much and have seen there fellow solders and friends give even more. Every time I leave there I feel more proud to be an American and patriotic.

Bittersweet for me. Visiting a friend in decline is tough emotionally, on a good day. Knowing he's receiving good care, has peers to talk with, and others he can relate to, brings peace to me, so, yeah, I'm pretty happy the VA is here for him 🙂

My Father is there. He has a great roommate. The people who work there are pretty nice. It's always clean in there. They have a lot of activities for everyone to participate.

We have a friend that lives there now and she is in much better shape. Doctors regularly check in on her and the nurses are really nice. She is fortunate to live at the VA home in Chula Vista.
