Valley Trails Summer Camp is an absolute gem! The staff truly knows how to engage kids in a way that's both fun and secure. My child eagerly anticipates returning every summer.
The convenience of both bus transportation and drop-off options is a huge plus. The camp offers a wide range of exciting activities, including a pool, a thrilling zip line, high ropes, arts and crafts, archery, and more. Each week brings a new theme, such as Color Week or Gymnastics Week, keeping the fun fresh and exciting.
The food is fantastic, and even the pickiest eaters are well-catered to. My child has also made many new friends to explore each week's theme with. It's clear that Valley Trails goes the extra mile to ensure a memorable and positive experience for every child.

My favorite place on earth as a camper. Planning to work as a cilt and counselor there when Iā€™m old enough. I live for that place and it brings me so much joy. The counselors, the community, the kids, the traditions, it is heaven on earth. There are endless fun activities and very few rude counselors. Even then, itā€™s relatively easy to avoid them. 10000000000000000/10 place. Special shoutout to Sweetpea, Hornet, Pluto, Snowmonkey, and The two cats Socks and Bat Kitty. šŸ©·

Went as a parent chaperone on a field trip here. It was 2 hrs of nothing! Grinding corn and playing with sticks and rope. Videos are not allowed and now I know why. I don't know how much the school paid but not worth it. The kids were disappointed to say the least.

Wanna be a 49'er? VT Ranch is the place! My 4th grader & his classmates came here on 3/14/17. We were about 150 people total. They were very well organized and educational. Lots of activities planned, plenty of time to complete them before lunch. We learned that this place runs by appt only, so our school was the only on there that day
The kids took over the jobs of a 49'er miner! Panning for gold, making butter, brick-making etc. The kids loved every activity! We had about 4 hrs total, including lunch (we provided).
..and after lunch? A PLAYGROUND!! These folks know kids well, they had a huge full playground area next to the shaded lunch tables. They even had a B-ball hoop & balls!
They run kids camp programs throughout the year.
I kept 1 star off as they had a wheelchair accessible drop off, but after that, getting around the activities was rough. We had a student on crutches (who had a parent with him) who had a rough time getting around. It would've been great if they had some trails linking the activity centers. It was all uphill and bumpy terrain! Also, not every area had shade, BRING SUNSCREEN & A HAT!!
Overall, we all had a fun field trip!!

It is fun place to visit. A gun range, high ropes, but it is also a camp that you can stay overnight at. I gave it 4 stars due to the state of the high rope course I was using. It could definitely use a little updating and maintenance to make it safer and more appealing. Other then that I had a great great time there today.

Would give this place NO STARS if possible. Both our kids, 8&12, went to this camp for one summer and came home with stories about the ā€œcounselorsā€ who were terrible at best. What called it off finally for us was when my 8 yr old son came home with a deep gash in his knee which had dirty gauze stuck to it. Literally stuck to the injury. We were never called or even alerted with a note in his backpack that he was injured. One of the ā€œcounselorsā€ wrapped up his blood gushing gash (from falling on a rock on the ground) with gauze and tape, let it dry in the heat and then let him swim with it on, then let it dry in the heat and dirt of the camp. It took us 3 hours to extract each hair of the gauze from the deep gash that should have been stitched up ASAP. Join this camp AT YOUR OWN RISK as the ā€œcounselorsā€are not certified, donā€™t seem to like being around kids, curse and are not trained in first-aid. Unfortunately the owner of the camp obviously hires cheap college (if youā€™re lucky) kid help. The owner of the camp is greedy and does not care about kids ā€”money is at the center of this camp. He would not refund our money after the injury but offered a discount to come another day. GREEDY AND UNSAFE CAMP FOR KIDS.
