We brought our 9 and 10 year-old children here for an afternoon. They were very well entertained for two hours and we probably could have stayed longer. They enjoyed playing in the grocery store, enjoyed the airplane, news casting on the green screen, and playing inside a human head. They have a really good variety of exhibits and so many opportunities to look, touch, and play.

The museum is a little worn, which the kids don't care about, except that it means some things weren't functional. The telephones were really cool, but you can barely hear each other. The kids were really excited to see the recycling center and wanted to create something new, but it was so messy and disorganized that they abandoned it almost immediately, and the electricity exhibit would be so well served by the circuit they can close to light things up, but it doesn't work.

It was a fun time, good value, and I would highly recommend going (I think any age up to 11 or 12 would really enjoy this), just know that a few exhibits don't work well.

Amazing place! Super friendly staff, interactive places, and reptiles galore! Allows everybody of all ages inside, overall amazing experience. Took my (13yr) little sister there and we had a blast, such a great place to goof off.

This is a great place for children. They have many learning opportunities. They have a TV screen where children can pretend to be weather reporters, an actual ambulance within the facility. Airplane, Digestive tracts, water treatment, grocery store where children can work a cash register. Live reptiles, snakes, iguanas, turtles. It's very informative and fun for the children even adults. My grandson had his bday party there, he had a blast.

Great place to spend the afternoon, they have AAA discount even though the price is very affordable. Had many educational experiences and historical exhibits as well for the local area. They also have many turtles which they let roam about the place. Very cool place!

Though the museum would have rated a 5 star rating 6 years ago, it is not worth the entrance fee now. I was so disappointed at the disrepair of almost every exhibit. Most area had broken keyboards and exhibits that I felt were dangerous. I mean not just not working but no keys and pieces missing. Cash register for grocery section actually was in pieces. Kids were left running crazy with no supervision. I felt I should clean before I used anything. I will never go back. I paid $32 for 2 adults and 2 kids and felt robbed.

My 3YO loves this place! We do, too! We travel from the Keweenaw to Marquette to come play! FYI: This museum participates in Museums For All, so if you have a Bridge Card, your family gets in for $1/each!
