The 211 line promised for emergency service needs or simple information and referral to services is not operational, and once you get through the main line just to donate somethings as simple as medical supplies new and in excellent condition you get referred to half dozen other agencies equally non operational. It’s really bad when the frayed government safety net is better than the multi million dollar funded not for profits. Shameful in a country as wealthy as this one. Clearly imho it’s not for lack of money that this is not a caring and effective society: it’s outright hatred or disdain for the poor; not taking social services seriously or incompetence, and lack of political will to get the right things done at any level.

It was not a fair decision at all. Went to them Salvation Army for help with my Nevada Power filled out the application, a month went by and I've call Nevada Power 3 ti mes prior to check on the status, Nothing!! Called Salvation Army on Main st. and they say to me that they Lost my application and to come down and do this all over again. We drove 25 mins. to do that. My original bill was 318.00 to pay but they now tell me they can only do a past due of 158.28. So now its my fault that they lost my paperwork. So now I'm back at square one. Terrible way to handle things.

Came here for a business meeting. The place was clean and well kept. The chairs were not that comfy but after all it is just a place of business.

Not only have I been continuously trying to get childcare and continuously trying to get a hold of these people they still won't help there supposed to be helping veteran family with childcare according to my support people apparently not ! Dont even try with these people
