The staff was great. They attended to me immediately when I brought in the animal that needed care. The only thing I can suggest is updates if you put on your form that you would like to be text emailed the progress or if the animal survived because I got nothing and I was constantly calling and then the last time I called the animal, actually had to be put down and it was just sad because they were the ones that asked if I wanted to be notified of the updates and how did I want to be notified and I said text or email would be fine and I would really appreciate it if they did give me updates. And when I did call, I would just leave messages and then I wouldn’t get returned calls.

I've been a supporter of Tri County Wildlife for a couple of years. I've also done a bit of volunteer work at the Center. I can truly say I've never met a more caring, hardworking, selfless, dedicated group of folks in my life. In addition to rescuing and rehabilitating a huge variety of wild creatures in a very large geographical area, Tri County WIldlife also puts a strong emphasis on education so that people know what to do when they find an injured wild animal, and how to support our ecosystem and the creatures in it. Each of these wildlife rehab specialists and volunteers could be doing something else that's easier and not as heart wrenching--I've seen them all break down in tears when they lose one of these precious creatures--but they choose to put their heart and soul into their work. They need our support and encouragement as they work hard to keep our wild ones free. As the director, Susan Manning always says in education presentations, "Saving wildlife saves us." Thank you, Tri County Wildlife, for saving lives every single day. You are amazing and give me hope for a beautiful and wild future for our planet.

They were great. We had an abandoned baby Red Tail Hawk in our back yard. We called them and they asked us to deliver it to them. Very friendly and caring. They were very knowledgeable about the baby hawk. I was very pleased with them

I volunteered there for the first time today. It was a great experience helping the little birds. The purpose of Tri county is to rehabilitate injured wildlife so the animals can be set free healthy and happy. I highly recommend donating to and volunteering for this organization.

Anyone who works for this rehabilitation center should be noticed for how hard working and dedicated they are. Rehabilitation is hard and grueling work, not for the faint of heart, and should only be done by those with trained experience. Each person here has that and more, and I have found the knowledge behind those who work here exceptional. The animals they care for truly are loved, and their mission in life is to educate those who care for animals HOW to care for them, whether they are rehabbers or compassionate people who find animals in need. This facility is so necessary and so greatly appreciated by fellow animal lovers such as me.

In my experience with TCWC, I have seen compassionate and dedicated volunteers care for the sick and injured as though they are their own. Its a treasured miracle to have the opportunity to care for these animals and release them back into the wild. Sometimes the extent of their injuries or illness prevent them for that, but they have been given the best possible care and every chance of a return to the wild where they belong. If every sick or injured animal was brought immediately here, perhaps more of them could survive. You guys are the best, and your long hours and dedication shows!!

Unfortunately a wild Turkey with an injured leg evidently cannot be aided by TCWC - apparently he has to endure because there is nothing that can be done for their type of bone-structure. But he is well-fed & watered - I feed the wild birds from a well-stocked feeder & have a clean-water filled bird-bath for them to drink from. He comes daily - & albeit on his own since he limps very badly, he now has a safe 'watering- hole' & is very welcome!
God bless you who give your time & expertise to wild creatures of all kinds! Thank you!

Unfortunately I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a place that should care for animals. This place does not care at all. The lady that I was dealing with was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I saw that a nest had fallen out of an tree so I looked inside and it had four eggs in side. I took them into this “ wildlife care” thinking they could help the unhatched eggs but they didn't help me at all. They actually threw the nest and the eggs away the second they saw them without a second glance, saying that they couldn’t do anything. I asked if I could just have them back because I know a neighbor who has her own bird sanctuary, but they didn’t care to hear about the alternative solutions to help the eggs. Instead they asked for all the information of my neighbor which I have no consent of giving out. If I knew that they were just gonna throw away a life that I could save I would never had gone here. I’m never gonna come here again.
