Thank you very much for the help you give to many of us !!
but I think that the adequate amounts are not being distributed to each family! My in-laws are two people in the house and sometimes there is too much food just for them! they don't always manage to use everything they receive!! contrary to my case! we are 7 at home with big children and teenagers and we have never received a box like my in-laws!! For example, this time when I went with all the boys to receive our pantry, we saw how three cans of ice cream and cakes and a box that looked full were loaded into the car in front!
when we lowered ours, we found no ice cream, no cake! I understand that it is a matter of luck perhaps!! and that we should be grateful with what they give us!!
but how do I explain to my children that we don't even get ice cream. no cake!
but clearly I am grateful for the enormous help they give us!!

This was a lifesaver for a long time in order to get food. I'm disabled and the way it's run now which is different than it was during COVID and prior to that. Now, I'm not able to participate because my body can't get up as early as they're asking people to get there in order to get a ticket. I understand that this is a non-profit but it seems that it's now catering to a "higher class" of people.

I will always write to Urban Mission as five stars. I understand how frustrating it can be to try and serve as many people as they’re needing help. Hopefully some more streamlining and brainstorming will help with the flow of traffic. Hopefully some people realize that they shouldn’t block intersections.
