Wow! Run as fast as you can. I came here to tour about four months ago and I left feeling so excited. The people at the office showed me their “apartments “but in reality it was nothing like the actual apartment I got on my first day. They had told me that the apartmentthat they showed me would look exactly like the ones I would move into on my first day. They didn’t even mention that it was quite literally across the street and practically detached the entire apartment. Looks like a sloppy job painted white and thought this is modern. The pool at the apartments isn’t even cleaned. It seems like they only upkeep their main spot, which sucks because I still pay as if I lived at the main spot.
Today was the first day of moving in and this is our “” cleaned room “this is absolutely ridiculous.

I have lived here unfortunately for the past 10 months and it has been the worst experience. It all started when they would not accept my form of income for starting a lease for a place that is supposed to be "student living" They wanted to charge first and last months rent and an additional $1000 to prove i am eligible to pay rent on time. They legitimately scam college students. I moved into the apartment side and this has been the worst decision I have made in my life. There is absolutely no insulation in the apartments. There is mold seeping out of the wood in the bathrooms. My friend moved in before me and she said they did not have the apartment prepare. There was dirty carpets and floors. The fridge did not work. etc. The stairs up to are apartment has a broken step that they have not bothered to fix as it is a safety hazard to anyone who climbs these steps. In the winter you are freezing because there is no insulation and now that it is getting hot, it is so hot you can't even be in here. The reason why most don't plug in their swamp coolers is because they use so much energy to even use your bill ends up being hundreds of dollar. This place is also very expensive in rent for college students, and is not even luxury whatsoever.

There is no in unit washer and dryer also which means on top of the $600+ rent everyone pays here you also have to pay for your laundry to be done. That is not even guaranteed to clean your clothes because the washer and dryers are always broken or need more time added to them which costs more money. Both pools I have visited are never properly cleaned. I don't think I have ever seen them the way they are advertised online.

The main social lobby is also so disgustingly horrific. The only "nice" part is where the receptionists sit. The hallways reek of bad smells like weed, and pee. There is dried up vomit on the stair cases. The study rooms have bugs and stained carpets. You feel dirty just by walking through the halls. The furniture is insanely small for no reason. The people are also not very friendly and a lot of the time unwilling to help you or don't even know the answers to basic resident questions.

I beg that this place is shut down. To either be severely remodeled or to be shut down because of health living hazard. It is almost inhumane how terrible living conditions get and they don't even want to work with students on helping them out. I beg anyone reading this DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT LEASE HERE.

Life at the Apartments has been great. Been here a few years, no problems. Work Orders are always prompt and they fix the issue every time. Security on site and staff are super friendly! 10/10

Also, to prove this review is real, I'm in the apartments, come talk to me any time, staff know where to find me, they have my permission to point you my way to hear my raves about this place and I'm more than happy to! (As I'm still living here and plan to for another few years)

Staff in the office are great, very helpful for parents and students first time navigating this. Apartment is also very nice, no surprises, as advertised. It did need a clean, bathroom, kitchen had not been deep cleaned before move in. Other then that, my son is happy and so am I!

Do not lease here. You will regret it!!! False advertisement.
This place is money hungry!

1. They charge you $325 for a meal plan, but they’re closed for one month after fall finals.
The meals aren’t even good. They’re so repetitive and super unhealthy.
2. The washers and dryers are so small, and they permanently stain your clothes ( you have to pay to wash your clothes)
3. The pictures that are advertised are the leasing staff ( making it seem like it’s so cute to live there)
4. I received my keys to the apartment and the carpet in my room was stained
5. The showers knobs were so bad that it was hard to get the water to the right temperature.
6. The table that came in the apartment was crusty and the chairs were broken
7. When I moved out they charged me $89 for electricity just for myself. When I don’t even use the kitchen.
8. Please look somewhere else!! You will regret it
Look at Yelp for accurate reviews. The good reviews are fake. They just want people to lease here.

The social is a really cool place to live. It has everything you need and more. There are two cool gyms, a huge game room, a good restaurant and Starbucks. I’d definitely recommend moving here if you like to have a bunch of activities where you live.

The Social Chico staff were all very helpful and informative with my application and move in process. Taylor was especially helpful in making arrangements for me, guiding me through the resident portal app, and setting me up to be all set in the new area. Taylor was very sweet both in person and on the phone and helped me solve all my questions!

I've been residing here a little over a year n it has been so quiet at times, it doesn't even sound like I live around anyone. I like quiet but some sounds reminds you you are not all by yourself. I enjoy the happy, uplifting sounds of the college students going by or from the pool; during the Summer. There's been some times where there's loud, harsh uncomfortable sounds late at night but, not often which I very much appreciate. It's just there's hardly any bird sounds or anything in the mornings now. I like the nature sounds. The mngr has been decent n kind n maintenance does a good job. Things are ok at this time.
