I have been a thrifter my whole life as well as a massive donator to the Salvation Army. I am done with this organization due to the extreme price gauging they are currently placing on the items. For an organization that receives ALL ITS PRODUCTS FOR FREE it is nothing more than greed that has overcome this establishment as well. It is NOT A BOUTIQUE. It did NOT PURCHASE THE CLOTHING AND SUCH. Its initial purpose was to help not only the organizations purpose but the community and the people around it who need financial help with clothing and other items. I am appalled at this price increase that has gotten out of control. This is why people Struggle. It is no longer a helping hand but a hand held out for its own monetary greed!

As a Christian based place organization you would think they would be somewhere who accepts and forgives. They are nothing but a cult. They do a 7 year background check. Now I did get introuble 14 years ago but since they I haven't really gotten into trouble with the law. I was denied a job as a bell ringer because of my 14 year old felony. This cult just appoints whomever they want to lead people. Folks, you wanna reach God you can talk to him yourself. You can praise as you would like. You don't need man who is no better than you telling you what to do. A Christian based organization who judges people. CULT!!!!!! Please use a different organization like Gleaners, who actually helps people, not judge them. This cult and other salvation cults will be audited and posted to my YouTube channel. Time cult leaders pay.

His name is Gerald and his last name begins with an M but I won't put it here. Everyone who calls or comes here may not need food assistance or a shelter. This is suppose to be a Christian Organization helping everyone but they don't even answer the phone or they refer you to a different organization, all they do is take our money our time and our donations and ignore the real reason they exist.

Never been to the headquarters but have been to Clarkston, Orchard Lake, Pontiac, Troy, Royal Oak, Oxford and Walled Lake. I started going to the SA in June--at first I really enjoyed it now because of poor leadership especially at the Orchard Lake Lake stor
