I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism during the Christmas drive. I submitted an application on behalf of my daughter early on, providing all the necessary information. However, I received an email just a week before Christmas stating that you do not assist with evictions (which was not applicable) and that you do not help children over 13 (which also did not apply), along with other irrelevant rules. When I replied, including my phone number, I was ignored. Meanwhile, my roommate, who applied after me, received toys for her child, while my daughter got nothing. I wish there had been better communication and a more effective handling of my case instead of a vague email followed by silence.

Very difficult to get a hold of someone on the phone but with a hundred calls day. When I sent an email a very nice woman contacted me. Explained the overwhelming need to get help for people in Michigan.
She reached out to my sister to help her.
I'm so happy for it. Thank you.

Don't bother calling here they NEVER answer or call back. It could be real emergency if this service is needed and they don't care at all, but still advertise they help in this situation. It is shameful. Use your time wisely in a housing emergency and call somewhere else.

Wonder people. That Laura was extremely helpful and kind. The gentleman was empathetic and non judgmental. The lady that runs the place was OK. But Laura and Mr. Jones are the bees knees.
