I have to give this company a one star. Took me days calling everyday to get an p/u appt. They scheduled me from 8-12 showed up at 3:15pm. Driver was rude, and acted like he own my house walked in and didn't ask to come in. Then he didn't want to get the donations which were in excellent condition. Finally, he took them but I thought he was going to fist fight his helper. Horrible c ustomer service and horrible behavior. They got in a heated argument infront of my house.sorry but they need to be more professional in all ways. I won't use them again.

Very nice location and very friendly staff that works there in the warehouse. I met a fellow AF veteran who helped me pick out my furniture. The delivery workers only damaged one item when the delivery arrived at my apartment. They do need to be more careful when moving the furniture and left two scratches on my wood floor and markings on my door.

I came here 16 years ago for help, I needed a crib for my daughter, they didn't allow people in, you have to qualify and pay the $200. I see nothing has changed, luckily I found a crib at a garage sale with a mattress. So far I would rather go to the sharing center. One income, rented a room for us, food stamps helped

For recipients who receive the help, it is fantastic!

However, Mustard Seed charges $25 for pickup and will accept mattresses but may charge $10. From what the representative stated, they charge for drop-offs as well.

The charges may hinder donations by discouraging donors and going elsewhere. Many people are not going to or may not be able to afford the fees they charge, especially in this economy.
So, for now, I hate to say this, but it will be The Salvation Army, Good Will, or out on the curb for trash pickup.

Mom downsized her house and gave me a new mattress for my guest room. The current mattress is barely used, always had a cover and is in great condition. Orange County recommended using them to pick up mattresses. I thought, why not? Perfectly good mattress might help someone in need. They wanted to charge me $25 for pickup and only during business hours. Yeah it's going into the landfill now. A lot easier to just put it at the curb on large trash pickup day. Why would I have to pay and adjust my schedule to donate something? Lol

My son and I donated a large storage unit full of home furnishings and the Mustard Seed made it really convenient for us. They came and picked everything up for us and they were super friendly. I appreciate everything they do to help rebuild those that are in need in our community. It's an honor to donate and help rebuild lives.

Amazing place. They are respectful, considerate and have very low prices. I asked how much the stuffed animals were and she said they were free. I thought she was joking at first but she said she had so many. We came out with a couple bags of a good pair of shoes and shirts for cheap but still had no stains and were decent quality. You can tell this place is really trying to help those in need. Highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re needing to take it easy on the wallet.
The only complaint I had was there was no air conditioning but at least they attempted to use a big fan in the back which helped a bit. I still give this place 5 stars.
