I went into the Home Depot in Owosso today (3/2/2025) looking to buy a 46 inch husky toolbox. I was in the store within the last week and there was one on display. Regular price was 398 and it was on sale for 298. I saw online that the sale was still going on (see pictures). I went in and they didn’t have any on display, but they had one left up on the shelf (the two gentleman that got it down with a forklift were very kind). When I went to buy it the cashier said the price was 398. I told them about the sale and they said it wasn’t coming up in their system. I told them that I was in the same store within the last week and it was on sale on display. They pretty much told me that I was lying and that they never had a sale. Even with showing them the sale on my phone (yes the store on my phone was set to the one in Owosso), they said they couldn’t confirm they were the same even though they were the same toolbox. After standing in the store and arguing with the managers for about 30 minutes, they told me that they couldn’t honor the sale and that they would sell it to me for 398. I politely declined and walked out. I drove to the Home Depot in Haslett within the next hour and walked over to the toolboxes and confirmed that the same toolbox as the one in Owosso was in fact on sale for 298 (see pictures). Going to the Home Depot in Owosso was a huge waste of time and the store in Haslett sold me the same toolbox for the discounted price with absolutely no issues and were also very friendly.

Very Friendly and Helpful Service from the whole store! Corona Michigan. My best friend came to visit me from out of town, to help with our new home. We were shocked at how both; (Young & Older Employees, Super impressed with the Customer services !!!! )Well done, like we went back in a time capsule with old school customer service and friendliness.

I invested a significant amount in new carpet from Home Depot about a year ago, largely due to their advertised "lifetime warranty." At the time of purchase, I specifically asked if the warranty covered pet-related damage, as we were planning to adopt a dog soon. I was assured it would, which gave me peace of mind. However, when my new dog chewed a hole in the carpet, I was disappointed to learn otherwise. Upon contacting Home Depot, I was directed to "read the fine print" and informed that the warranty only applies if the carpet is professionally cleaned—a condition I was never made aware of during the sale. As someone who maintains the carpet myself, I find this requirement confusing and irrelevant, especially given the nature of the damage (a large hole). I feel misled by the lack of transparency and would caution others to carefully scrutinize the warranty terms before purchasing from here.

We ordered kitchen cabinets and they Arrived DAMAGED. They also arrived with the WRONG parts. 3 weeks later, we STILL don't have them. We also ordered 4 kitchen shelves. 2 of the 4 that were sent were the WRONG COLOR! We paid alot of money for these cabinets and shelves. We have called and went back to the store several times. All we here is ' we have contacted our vendors and are waiting for a response '..
I advise you to NEVER use Home Depot for any renovation.

Couldn’t fit a sheet of drywall in my car asked if they could cut it in half for me they said no. Went to flint and they cut it for me without hesitation and into 4 pieces!!!. I’ll be taking my business to flint, I’ve spent over $1000 this week at Owosso Home Depot renovating my bathroom and they couldn’t simply slice a board of drywall? My kitchen is next and that was few grand in cabinets flint will get from me instead. Absolutely my fault for not measuring my cargo space but come on!

I would give zero stars, if I could. I ordered window blinds that cost 1,300 dollars. It took six weeks. Fine. Can be time consuming. But, the frustrating part is trying to get this husband and wife team to come out and install them. I've left messages. Been waiting days. I finally called the store, and I'm told I have to wait more lol. They couldn't get hold of them either. What kind of place is this? 1,300 dollars for six blinds! And they are sitting in my living room, still in the shipping case. I do not recommend this service. I almost never leave reviews. But this is ridiculous. Lmao. I received all the blinds, finally, and one was miscut. I left a voicemail to schedule an install, and nobody has called back to schedule it. Going on four months. I am thinking about what options are available to me, legally.

Ordered a brand, new refrigerator, stove, and microwave a month ago, My date has been pushed back three times to get my appliances! Friday they send me an email telling me to prep for delivery on Monday and to get my other appliances out, to come find out today on Monday they have lost my order. don’t know where it’s at, and still don’t know when I could be getting my fridge microwave and stove. I have a newborn baby home that’s one month old and now we don’t have a fridge to store food or any way to cook it because they did not have good communication when it came to telling us when the appliances We’re going to be there. I highly recommend anyone not to buy their appliances or anything that they have to order from Home Depot because this has been an absolute nightmare and now we have to go buy coolers extra expense to store our cold food. Been an absolutely terrible experience

Our experience has been quite unpleasant. We spoke with the salesman back in June, 2021. We selected a custom door and were made aware that our payments for the purchase of the door would start before the door would actually arrive. We understood and agreed. So far, that's the only part of this purchase that hasn't gone awry.
By September 2021, we've made a couple of payments by now and no news on the door. I call our local store, and they have no information but give me a couple other different numbers to call. Ok then. It ended with calling their Home Office. It's eventually determined the door hadn't even been manufactured, at this point.
The door arrives and is installed in late October. The technician tells us its missing pieces for around the seal, and has the wrong insulation piece on the bottom, its too short by about 5". He says he'll order the parts and be back to install them as soon as they come in.
The middle of November, the door starts to show signs of bowing from the frame. The light is visibly coming through around the frame. We call again, asking about the ordered parts and informing them of the bowing.
Our local Home Depot said they couldn't help us, this was on the manufacturer and out of their hands.
December rolled around, and a different technician came out and installed the new parts and took pictures of the now very obvious bowing of the door.
The same tech came back in January with a whole new door panel to install - We were excited to finally put this issue to rest. Until it was realized the door was manufactured upside down. It had to be returned.

Unsure what to do at this point - we can't return it and have our old one back lol but, knowing this pretty door requires extra material to be closed in it to keep the gusty winter air out may change your mind of making this purchase, or any entry door purchase through The Home Depot.

Pictures below:
Original installation, inside and out
The gap that began in November
As of March 2nd, a full bath towel fills the entire gap across the top and down the side to keep the cold air from coming in
