As mentioned in one review, "I haven't been to this place since the last time I had to pick up my husband and mine mail. They had told me I was not allowed to pick my husband up. That they had to come and see him in person. It has been around 3 to 4 weeks. Nobody still has shown up to see my husband in person. As we don't have the money to take the city bus to keep coming downtown to pick up only my mail as that would not make any type of sense. Yes my husband and I are homeless. I do not have time to wait around as my husband does have medical conditions, as it is very hard for him to walk."

If you're looking for 2 meals, they have that. Depending on the time you get there to get in the long line, you may be able to use other services like washing, showering, phone charging (if it’s not full), and computer services.
Nothing is really clear-cut with them. Instead of really assisting people with housing and other services like mail, they want you to use their services (eating food) for an extended time (likely a year) before giving support. They won't tell you exactly what you need to do unless you ask endless questions to make sure you don't waste your whole day just sitting there. Some people actually work and have lives that don't revolve around dry sitting all day. However, when they do get around to helping, it works well.

"YES IM HOMELESS"Been there twice. The first time got assigned a case manager. She was very help. At the time i had a job working 20 hours a week. The assistance they could help with was a deposit getting a apartment & furnished. My job didn't pay enough for me to an apartment & keep it up. My case manger really did try. With other job info, clothes, extended my period as much as possible. No luck. Went to the beacon again with a different situation. Still homeless & been in a domestic violence accident. Was asked where i living stated the park. How I been washing my clothes & body. Told them I get help sometime not often. And was refused all the way. Really the person helping was RUDE. I stated I got to be almost beat dead before I get help. Keeping my Faith
