I've seen this place grow from using pen and cards to now. It's not like it used to be. It was for the residents of Jefferson county. Now everyone goes there and it's always crowded. The lines are long and now you have to wait outside or check in with security. I volunteered here after receiving help. In the older building. There was a clinic next door that's no longer there

I hope just once in my adult poverty not of my own making just one alleged help organization teaches employees and volunteers alike that using the word YES isn't a bad thing. Give people who came to give autonomy let them make desicions. That ur online and telephone marketing aren't ignored so much that we that don't need to do so end up wasting $ trying to get help by following directions. When directions are incorrect, no one is winning. Yes you can take that salad that is making ur mouth salivate. Yes, hi we actually close for luch and apologize that isn't clear until you've spent your last gas to get here. Yes you needs stuff and there's no NO in our language. I bet people would leave every day happy, and for God's sake, burn every resource sheet as if it were the Salem witch trials. Trust we know more way more than your organization's one particular curated list of alleged who does what that surely bears no bias on the part of the present editor. It's so like the most predictable and demeaning last parting gift given almost every single place you go.

Went for the food bank after many years. Great selection, great staff they treat people with respect and are very helpful
