I guess it's a superstore for London, but it's not that big. They have a decent range of items, but sometimes it seems that they could have a bigger selection if they used less space for certain products. But overall it's pretty good, the cashiers are fast & the prices are a lot better than Tesco extra.

It's annoying that the bike racks are in the car park, no camera on them, should be out the front

An amazing big store but compared to the smaller stores, this stores to be lacking in a lot items that person would want. They have one small section for fresh meat but have an entire long aisle for pet food and toilet paper. Doesn’t make any sense.

Best supermarket I've been to in London. Wide range of fresh produce. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Very rarely a queue on the tills.

Closed at 16:00 on Sundays which is too early though.
Came back on Monday and found this superstore is really spacious which is nice to shop there.
Things are also cheaper than other supermarkets. You can find some Asian food and seasoning as well which are also cheaper than those in London Chinatown.
Would come back for grocery shopping for sure.

Tesco Kennington Lane is an ok store certainly not a superstore, have seen improvement like outside trollies now being under cover previously was left out even in rain.
Shame when rebuilt this store did not include direct access from car park into store, as have to walk out of car park to store entrance, not nice when raining, or cold winter months.
Previous store had wash rooms and customer service desk missing from current store.
Sunday opening at 10-00am is a big advantage, also have staff
check-out tills. also missing is local bus service to local estates.
Staff have always been polite hand friendly.

So after many years of redevelopment we get a slightly more compact "superstore" with less manned tills, and a self service kiosk with limited space for scanned items, that's suitable for people buying meal deals.

There's now a covered car park. Open car park and residential area are still in development.

On a more positive note, the layout looks clean. Refrigeration units with slide doors for energy conservation and ease of use. Prices are not Express prices
