They are awful! They take forever to get back to you. They have 45 days and they always go passed that. They are disorganized and they are not the nicest. All social services offices are slow, but this one is the lowest and most disorganized of all. If you transfer out of that county, make sure to got the your now county SS office and let them know you want to transfer your stuff over because Tehama won't, and you will lose your benefits. This is just the sort list of why they are awful.

They were always good to me when I had to deal with them. They helped me through when I was disabled. Small town social services are much better then the city.

Closed. Don't care about locals and those that can't get to another town. They don't even pick up the drop box.
