I’ve worked with multiple recruiters in my career, and by far the best experience I had was with Shelby. She went above and beyond in making sure I had a robust understanding of the role and how my experience would fit into it. Every step of the way, I knew what next steps were (and should be).

Stay away! They'll tell you they have this job that is perfect for you, get you to fill out all this paper work, then once you're on their books, you'll never hear from them again, and this miraculous job "is taking it's time".

They send out emails constantly to fill roles, even call you, but never answer any follow up communication. I mean, recruiters are supposed to be recruiting, right? Not here though. I can’t speak for all of the employees at Syndicate, but definitely the ones I have worked with. Disappointing experience.

Re: Your response didn't address my complaints at all. Your recruiters are unprofessional and rude - I have now dealt with 4 here and they are all the same. Regardless of the status of the role, I'm pretty sure they are able to type emails and exercise basic courtesy.

The worst. If I could give no stars, I would. I signed up in 2016, had years of previous industry experience and never an interview. Worked for Fox that same year, not with their help. Back to Fox years later, not with their help. They are trash.

I did speak with their office during all of this, still have the emails. Not a single interview.

Alexa and Sydney were great to work with! They were on top of everything, communicated promptly between myself and the hiring firm and fielded any and all questions I had. I felt at ease and looked out for through the whole process.

As a small business owner, I’ve had a great experience with Syndicatebleu. I had a few phone calls with Nicole and she honestly knows her stuff and cares for her clients. Our job need was filled before we were fully set up with the company, but Nicole’s insight into the market and tips and strategies with hiring (as well as important changes in laws) I will remember and always appreciate. Will definitely return the next time we need a job filled.

Signing up with this agency has proven to be an exorbitant waste of time.

Periodically, I receive e-mails where "Senior Creative Recruiters" and "Directors" will copy & paste a greeting with my name, as to maintain this illusion its friendly & personal, but the subject line reads one title & position, and in the body of the e-mail, they include an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT title & position, completely non-related. Neither position is tailored or suited for me.

It feels as if you're just a number, and not a human being.

Also, the position will be for an entirely different industry for which I have no experience. It's a situation that can potentially lead to disaster and create chaos later on for all parties involved.

Overall, their broken, automated system is flawed, impersonal, antiquated, tone-deaf, unprofessional and out-of-touch.

It's no mystery why there is a high turnover, and mass layoffs occur when recruiting companies like this are ignorantly misplacing candidates. You're wasting the time of candidates, clients, and your own organization.

When calling in, the receptionist specifically stated the "DIRECTOR" was not fully active. What does that mean? Not fully active? It proved to be a very unnecessarily difficult, hard time speaking to someone who was active, empathetic and intuitive.

The "Managing Director" Diana Qasabian stated over the phone that I "talk too fast", but claimed she had to hop onto a meeting in just a few minutes. How else does one communicate info over the phone over the course of less than 10min? The consistent, fabricated story is they all "have a meeting to hop onto" probably because they could care less?

Voicemails don't get returned, and the receptionist will claim "they're all out to lunch" with no one to cover.

These individuals in "Senior" and "Director" positions are not able to answer basic, rudimentary questions or provide guidance and insight as someone truly seasoned.

It may be Hollywood, but the acting ain't all that great, and the stories don't exactly add up.
