Great place and staff. Sweetwater, its founders and leadership has done more for disability services that most will ever be able to do. What they built is rare, amazing and worth supporting. The tours are informative and gives so much hope to others who wish to one day be given the opportunity to partake in a similar setting for our children.

For years I had known families without living options for their adult children with autism. Then Sweetwater Spectrum was founded and they have been changing lives, and adding to the surrounding community ever since. This is not only an innovative supportive housing option but every person there has heart. I can't recommend Sweetwater Spectrum strongly enough.

So grateful to live in a Community that hosts such a valuable vibrant program. As someone who grew up with my aunt having cognitive impairment , having to stay in “group homes” seeing sweetwater gives me hope for more programs striving for innovative progress with integrity. My family and I enjoy getting the micro greens weekly from their booth at the Tuesday night farmers markets and we volunteer with residence at the redwood food bank bi-weekly. It's been a great experience to share these days with my daughter as she learns the meaning of community connection. I was privileged enough to do a tour with my daughter in the day they were doing the DJ dance party, the effort to keep the resident's interactive within the grounds and community is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

My nephew has been a resident of Sweetwater since it opened its doors in 2013. Living there has been transformational for him. It has allowed him to live and flourish in a warm, nurturing community. The families all work together both with regards to each house (their are four residents per house) and as part of a broader community to support each other and work together to make the best possible environment for the residents. Olivia, the executive director, is amazing and cares deeply about each resident. She is unbelievably responsive and capable. It has truly been a blessing for my nephew to live in such an incredible environment.

Sweetwater is an amazing place to live - both physically and emotionally. The facilities are top notch, the staff is incredibly supportive and helpful, there are lots of stimulating, purposeful activities for the residents, and they even have an organic garden that residents help tend to. My friends child has blossomed since living there. She feels connected to the Sweetwater community as well as the surrounding community through SW programs. I wholeheartedly recommend Sweetwater to anyone with an autistic adult child looking for a loving environment.

Our adult autistic daughter has lived at Sweetwater Spectrum for over eight years now. What we have seen and experienced there has been nothing but the very best of care, concern, and inclusion. It is an amazing facility with many enrichment activities offered for the residents. and excellent, experienced caregivers. They also Involve the residents in local community activities and employment, as well as other day programs. We cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful community. We are so grateful that our daughter is there and thriving in a least restrictive, supportive environment.

Sweetwater Spectrum is an incredible Supportive Living Residential Community for Adults with Autism. Our son has been there for 11 years and it is a joy to watch him and his house-mates thrive living there, creating long-term relationships and enjoying the wide range of enrichment activities offered. The Sweetwater Spectrum team is fantastic. We also appreciate the great support from the service providers that each family themselves select, to be the care staff for their resident.
