What a wonderful place! I entrusted this place to take care of my grandmother and she left better than when she came in. Left making friends with the residents and the therapists and my grandma feels stronger with the treatment that was provided here. With the constant care, arranged and timely meals as well as activities to entertain the residents such as bingo and arts and crafts, my grandma always radiated with joy as to how she was treated here. 15/10 Would recommend for your family and loved ones, you can trust SunHarbor to care for your family!

The staff at Sun Harbor are amazing, especially the nursing staff and aides who were consistently caring and attentive. The recreation team is outstanding—Xavier in particular went above and beyond to make sure my mom was involved in the activities, which really helped make her stay more enjoyable. It has been an exceptional experiance with the staff at Sunharbor Manor. Lizzie, Alex, Dia, Lindsay were the one that have done a marvelous job by taking care of my father as thier aide at the rehab.

Also, the PT Monica, Mariyam, Anthony, Bryan were the one worked with my dad as their a physical therapist. They did not give up and they were motivating him and worked hard with him.

Over all, I would like to thank from behalf of Rahmatee family to all the staff mantioned above for an amazing service.

My mom was recently at Sunharbor for 7 weeks. Overall, her experience was superb. The physical therapy was outstanding and the therapists were caring and supportive. The aids who took care of my mom were kind and pleasant. There was a gentleman named Michael (The Concierge) who made every day more pleasant and optimistic.

My dad received excellent care during his recent Sunharbor Manor stay. The MD/NP assigned to his care were caring, proactive, intelligent and communicated well with the family. The social workers were supportive and available - including making him comfortable in a new environment. The nurses and CNAs were responsive, caring and compassionate. The PT/OT staff worked well with him and promoted a positive attitude which was so impactful. Dietary was responsive to food requests and he loved the food. I would recommend Sunharbor Manor to anyone seeking short term rehab or to live there for long term care!!

When I was admitted to your facility I was scared I would die there. But after spending 3 months there I am going home o June 13. The quality care I received was excellent from your entire staff. They made me feel like a guest instead of a patient. From your Doctors,Nurses Pts and all other staff members I was never lost for excellent care. Thank you for everything. My father has been to Sun Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center multiple times after short hospital stays for reconditioning. Sabrina, the Director of Admissions and Phil, her assistant, were great to work with and made his transition seamless. The Recreation Department was also wonderful as they really engaged my father in the many fun activities and were kind enough to transport him to the activity and back to his room when it was over. Michael, the Concierge, was very caring and always tried to make my father comfortable. Alyssa from the Social Work Department, was also extremely helpful during his stay, as well as securing home care when he left. I highly recommend this facility for a loved one and am very grateful their assistance.@Sunharbor Manor

Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Sunharbor manor for a wonderful experience while I was there for rehab. I especially want to Thank, Michael Concierge for helping me with my private room, and for always being there when I need him, he is so kind. Caring and always given a helping, hand. I thank my nurses aide Elena, Claudine and The rehab teams Briam, Diego Monica, Romina Forgetting me back on my feet again. I also thank my social worker, Amy and case manager, Alissa. And I cannot for get Sakura in house keeping. I recommend this place for anyone that looking for short term, rehab. Everyone treats, you like family.

My mother in law Josephine spent time rehabbing at Sunharbor manor. The facility was clean and the food was very good. Michael Ricketts the concierge is excellent and very hands on. Harripersan Nanaan is a very nice and caring man who keeps the place clean. Head nurse Emily runs a tight ship and makes sure the patients care is top notch. Khalid the day time nursing supervisor also was great. Thanks to all and too many more to mention.

I spent 16 days after having surgery at Sunharbor Rehab. It. was my first experience didn’t know what to expect. I have been here two weeks and the service was great. I want to thank Michael the concierge for an excellent job always coming to check on me getting me what I needed always with a smile always coming to say good how is everything? Do you need any assistant? I think the rehab department they were great in getting me back on my feet so I could leave today. I thank my social worker Kim for getting me another room and all the staff here at this facility are just wonderful and caring. Thanks the supervisor Jamel and Miss Miller for all day too to make sure I got my meds and taken care of. I recommend this place as I leave here Today for a short term rehab thank you for my short stay it was a pleasure being here and taking care of.

My father spent one year and four months at Sunharbor Manor for long-term care, and throughout that time, he was consistently treated with dignity, compassion, and professionalism. Every day and during days I visited, I observed he was well cared for, his medications were given in accordance with his treatment plan, and never once neglected. He was always clean, his room was maintained impeccably, and his laundry was always taken care of promptly.
The recreation team provided meaningful activities, entertainment, and grooming resources that helped keep his spirits up. There were even options for haircuts, which I gladly paid for, and my dad always received his preferred buzz cut. They also shaved him regularly, making him feel fresh and confident. Over time, I observed how my Dad gradually acclimated to his new environment; it truly felt like a home away from home thanks to the warmth and dedication of the CNAs and nurses who cared for him. There was also a genuine sense of community among the residents, which helped my dad feel connected and supported, making the transition so much easier for all of us.
His meals always arrived warm and on time, and the staff followed a strict regimen to ensure his individual needs were met. The wound care team was absolutely exceptional—given the complexity of his needs, their care was nothing short of perfection. My family and I spent many days together with my Dad in the family dining room or on the patio during warmer weather, making cherished memories.
The overall culture among the staff is clearly one of teamwork and compassion. As a family member, I always felt supported, knowing there was a unified approach to my dad’s care. In his last days of life, he received comforting treatment, and my family and I will forever remember his time at Sunharbor Manor as supportive and caring.
I am eternally grateful to everyone at Sunharbor Manor who played a role in my father’s care and comfort through to his passing. A very special thank you to Nurse Supervisor Trudy Blackwood for her unwavering attention to my dad’s care and for making my family feel supported at every interaction, especially during the toughest days. You are an extraordinary professional, and we will always hold you in our hearts.
I’d also like to acknowledge Kim Geisler, social worker assigned to my dad’s care, for her responsiveness and support whenever needed. Your prompt attention and willingness to help truly made a difference for our family.
Lastly, thank you to the receptionists who greeted us with a smile each visit, and to the administration for running such an outstanding facility. Any family whose loved one needs skilled nursing would be fortunate to have them cared for at Sunharbor Manor. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone!

The staff in the rehab were so wonderful with the care they gave my mother, especially Michael the concierge, Claudine and Sara. My mother was put at ease each time they entered the room and made her smile and laugh. The food wasn't great, but she is picky anyway! The physical therapist John Bryan was also very patient and caring. Thank you all!!
