My mother was there just over a month. She was walking, eating and very social when she went in. Noticed one day she had a bruise that covered her forehead that they said they had no idea what happened nor did they notify me. A week later they sent her to the hospital because she wasn't eating. Less than a week later she was in hospice and died a few days later. Please don't let how nice the facility is kid you as to the level of care. I did and it cost my mom her life.

My grandmother has been an independent living for several months now. She has mild dementia, but can still live on her own with the help of the staff there. They are all very friendly and helpful and make her feel comfortable. There is something to look forward to for her each day. She loves the dining room and the food, live music each week, and getting her apartment cleaned for her. She is so happy and well cared for, I would definitely recommend StoryPoint Novi to others.

My brother is in need of a better care facility than he's currently in, so last month Melissa (Community Specialist) gave us a tour of StoryPoint Novi. The building and grounds are absolutely beautiful, but we were most impressed by the level of care StoryPoint offers, especially for Parkinson's patients like my brother. It is way beyond what is offered at other places we visited, and at a very affordable price. The individual apartments have everything we were looking for - spacious and clean with private bathrooms and comfortable beds. They even include in-room laundry service! There are lovely outdoor spaces for both assisted living and memory care residents, as well as fun field trips and in-house activities. We were treated to a delicious lunch served restaurant style in one of StoryPoint's several dining rooms. Melissa was welcoming, friendly, and very respectful of my brother's slower speech. She made us all want to be a part of her wonderful community. We are extremely disappointed that my brother will not be able to move to StoryPoint because of a family disagreement. This felt like the perfect place for him. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with the kind, caring and very compassionate staff at Story Point of Novi. The Executive Director, Michael Hamid, is a "hands on" Director. He is often seen mingling with the residents and seems to know many residents by name. The environment is cheerful, friendly, clean and very lively. The residents are welcoming and friendly. Story Point offers too many amenities to name. If your loved one enjoys an upbeat environment this is the place to be. My mom was not well enough to enjoy all this place had to offer so we had to move her. But I am terribly disappointed it didn't work out for her as this place is lovely.

This facility is absolutely beautiful. Every time I stop in, the residents seem so happy, always engaging in conversation with me. I don’t think there has ever been a time that I visited when something special wasn’t going on, music, dancing, singing…..always something. The caregivers are wonderful, the way they interact with the residents is so touching. The nurse, Shawndra, really cares about her residents and makes sure they have the best care. The entire staff go above and beyond for the residents. I highly recommend Storypoint of Novi!

Mom transitioned from independent to assisted to memory care living in 9 months. She entered memory care after an extended hospital stay that left her physically weak, with decreased cognitive ability, and a diminished outlook on life. Within two months Mom was a different person thanks to the memory care staff. She was much stronger and able to stand on her own; her cognitive function improved; and she returned to her independent, spunky personality - their creative group activities make a world of difference for her. Her overall health improved drastically: her diabetes is more easily managed; her weight is appropriately aligned; and she takes fewer medicines. But it is her outlook on life where they've had the greatest impact - their care and positive environment has led to her living a happy life every day. For us, the greatest impact of the care they provide is our "peace of mind." We are grateful and know that Mom is in the best place she can be!

I hope the ownership can clean up this “community “. My mother fell after only being there 2 weeks in independent living and fractured her neck. She was not found for 2 whole days. She was only found laying on the living room floor after I called and insisted they go check on her. No one from the Executive team reached out to inquire about her well being. So much for the sales member who assured us that all members of the community whether assisted or independent are checked up on regularly. This is nothing but a big business and if you are looking for assurance of your loved ones well being this is not the place to look to. In the time my mother was in the hospital and even before her apartment had never been cleaned. Nothing that was promised was fulfilled. A lot of money for very little return. This glitzy package hides many flaws.

Moreover, the dining experience is wonderful. The facility offers nutritious and delicious meals. The staff ensures that residents are well taken care of and the dining environment is welcoming and social.

Above all, the staff members at this memory care facility are wonderful. Their care and compassion shine through. They treat my mom with care and compassion, going above and beyond to provide comfort and support. Their dedication to enhancing the quality of life for my mom and others with memory impairments is truly commendable.

I recommend Anthology of Novi for anyone seeking compassionate and professional care for their loved ones. It has provided my mom with a safe and loving home, and our family is grateful for the positive impact it has had on her well being and ours.
