I have two incredible Arabians through the assistance of this rescue. The welfare of these horses is paramount, and there are numerous safeguards in place to insure that the horse is healthy, fed, vetted, trained and taken care of. The foster to adopt program is brilliant, and has the best interests of both horse and adopter accounted for. I absolutely adore the two that I have through them! Thank you so much…. We adopted a beautiful gelding from SVRH over a year ago. Terra and her team were so easy to work with.

We put our application in for adoption and they got right on checking references so that our boy could be adopted ASAP. I am forever grateful they saved him from an auction and he was able to come to us.

I have been working with feedlot and rescue horses for the past several years. After owning the same horse for 32 years who passed away at age 36 in 2019, I stepped away from horses for a year or so and then came across this rescue and the feedlot group. I love all horses but Arabs are my favorite. Since 2020, I have rescued 4 horses with Terra’s help with the last one coming through SVRH and he is an absolute treasure ❤️❤️❤️. I chose to adopt because I am now older and already have horses that will have a home with my daughter if something ever happened to me. I wanted to help Novak but also wanted the reassurance that he would be safe should he ever need a new home. Terra has also helped me with some of my other rescues to locate quality training or transport. Many quality horses go through these low level auctions and the rescue makes sure they have vet care and make an assessment on the best longer term environment that would work for that particular horse. Many of these horses are started in training and their adoption fees are incredibly reasonable. If you are looking for a Arab or Arab cross, please consider this rescue’s adoptable horses.
