Marian Kaanon - President & Chief Executive Officer came and provided our club an immense amount of information about the course and direction of Stanislaus Community Foundation from a personal and professional perspective.

We have had the opportunity to have her speak multiple times and each and every encounter is always thought provoking as well as heart centered with logical ideas to move forward for the growth and development of Stanislaus County and Modesto residents.

From our perspective, we look forward to a continued long standing relationship and many of our members are better educated on the development of the region from her efforts.

The community foundation is a huge asset to this region. They are doing some amazing strategic work through partnerships and coordinated funding efforts to really move the needle towards a better community. They have an excellent team and I would recommend everyone to check out what they are doing and to get involved.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Maria (front desk or the lady that answered my phone conversation)was AMAZING! Although she could not help me and my family with our specific needs she was sweet and so helpful. She answered all my questions and gave me options of places to go. Every place that deals with the community and homelessness and people in need should call this place. In the time of need we really do need places that support EVERYONE! Not everyone wants to be homless...there are some families that are in crucial need.. THANK YOU MARIA!
