What a great place to pick up 2nd hand things. I am visiting and needed a hard back chair. One of the guys working took the time not only to wheel my purchase out to our vehicle but also loaded it. Great selection & kind employees! Thank you!

I love this place! Everything donated is kept local and the proceeds are used to help the local people via the St. Vincent de Paul Society located nearby. They have cleaned up the store and the quality of the items is much better than when I first started going a few years ago. The staff is friendly and eager to help.

I have found many nice items there including shoes, pants, shirts, kitchen items, a very nice silver plated gravy boat and a small dresser. I felt they were reasonably priced. AND, my money is helping local people, who really need the help provided by this charity, not going to China, or Bangladesh. Recently a relative died and I donated an entire car full of their very nice clothing.
Hey, go and see if they have what you want at a price you can afford. If not, try Goodwill or other resale shops, but please do not trash talk St Vincents.

I love this store, not because it's a thrift store but, because of what they stand for and for everything they do for Our community. I see people writing reviews about how expensive this store is, etc; but what I don't see is people writing about how much St Vincent's does for the people of Sierra Vista.
They work hand in hand with the food bank, where most of us have gone more than once, asking for help with the electric bill, food boxes, gas cards, furniture vouchers and whatnot! And St Vincent's has helped!
So what if they have to raise their prices a little, every now and then; how else are they going to continue to help Our Community without asking for a little more!!
It's sad to see that some people, in this same community, are willing to risk them going out of business, by running off their future, potential customers; whining about the prices!!!
This is a small town... Who's going to be there to help the people, if St Vincent's were to close?! The whiny, over-exaggerating, guy that probably complains to his preacher if God doesn't respond to his prayers right away!! Just saying.

Went in looking for a few things, but didn’t come out with any of that — though I did buy a few items. I gather there’s some complaints about their pricing, but, honestly, aside from a very few things that were overpriced I thought the pricing was quite reasonable — the furniture they have is in great shape, and the prices are good.

Personally I dont know how this store stays in operation. They receive everything via donations and jack the prices up so ridiculously high that the average person cannot afford it.
If someone shows up with a clothing voucher they have to shop the "bottom of the barrel" section because this store has a "BEST" item section that they cannot get. They cannot get good clothing or furniture.
The outside section is filled with dusty weather beaten items. A stained couch runs for $100 or more. It warped headboard for $150.
They say the proceeds go back to the community but this community does not see it. In fact, seven years ago when I needed assistance with a bill they turned me down and would not help. Nor have they assisted anyone I know who went to them for help. Just more money from the community for the catholic church to continue its lavish habits.
Go to the thrift store on Post. Its consignments and donated sales. Each year they give out scholarships.

Prices are obnoxious to say the least. BEST rack is filled with filthy, stained, and low end items. Pricing will leave you more confused than anything. If you're looking for a good deal, skip this store.
