The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars… their licensing worker is amazing. Beyond that, do not look to become a foster parent if they’re handling a child’s case. You’ve been warned.

I am very surprised by the reviews on Google. We have loved the staff that we have worked with for foster care and adoption. They care about your needs and are always very helpful for every question we ask. If the person we ask doesn’t know the answer, then they find us somebody who does.

I mean, come on now. A charity that is the embodiment of humanity. They're here because they choose to help and follow the teachings of their faith. A true testament to the kindness of the human soul. Thank you for all the help you provided me during a time no one would. I got lost in the system and only have one form of ID that makes it hard for me to move on with my life. They set up an appointment with their attorney, and let's hope for the best, and if even if it doesn't work out, at least they tried, which is all I can ask for.

My team has created several documentary-style videos to highlight some of the work STVCC has done through their refugee and adoption/foster care services. It's so evident how passionate this team is, and it's heart warming to see the positive impact their work has on the community.

I stayed here twice years ago, the first time wasn't horrible, not great either but not horrible, the second time was horrendous, I was mistreated, quite a few staff brought their personal issues to work and took it out on the kids, made constant threats about different things, the school was bad and i got nowhere their, the food from the main kitchen was abysmal and proportions were all the same no matter how old you were or what health conditions you had, i could keep going on but i could probably write an entire book about this place

I was a child in their care. I was here for almost a year with cancer and they never took me to a dr to get care. We didn’t know I had cancer until I was out of their care. While I was terribly sick under their care I was mistreated and gaslight by the staff at how sick I was getting. I was also placed on “sick bay” where you only get one meal a day when you are sick. I lost alot of weight and suffered immeasurable mental pain from this facility. Because of this facility when I got help for my condition it was almost too late. I almost died. Not to mention they recently got in trouble because a male staff member had a whole year long relationship with a 14 year old. You can look it up on google. Please reconsider another facility to help your children and family. For the sake of everyone. I can say that some staff members here were my light during my hard times here.

I adopted a child that had previously been at St.Vincents. She still talks about how wonderful the staff was to her. After I adopted her, I took her back to see the staff. I think this is important for the staff to see that they really made a difference in her life. They were overjoyed to see her and one of the staff members spent most of the visit in tears of joy. She commented to me, " We never really know what happens to the kids when they leave here. It is so wonderful that you brought her to see us and to see that she is thriving and doing well." My adopted daughter often speaks of adopting a sister from St Vincents to help someone like she was helped.

So far I am very happy with the services that my granddaughter is getting here so she can return home. From what I have been told it's one of the better residential placements in the state. I will post another review after she comes home.
