The parish seemed to be accommodating. A rosary was said before mass. And the priest delivered an uplifting homily (sermon) about how we as Christians should serve each other.

Space, though, was the only thing that the church lacks. Some people were standing during the mass. And it was very congested to get in and out of the church building and parking lot.

On a positive note, at any rate, the parish is said to be raising funds to expand the church sanctuary.

Quaint church. Visited for its historical designation (#371 Southern Most Point of the South San Joaquin Valley -visited by Garces in 1776). This site is out in the middle of nowhere, just outside of town. Very small but very well maintained.

They don’t try to help the only English speaker kids they don’t teach them anything everything is said in Spanish the catechism classes are all English I spoke to the teacher to try to translate she refused to and the bilingual masses are in Spanish my kids haven’t learned anything from this church the prayers they send them in Spanish I had to look for them in English because they refused to send them in English the summaries they have to write the teacher told me I had to search them up in English I see it’s pointless to have them in this church

My grandparents attended this parish, my parents attend this parish currently and now my husband and I attend this parish. Love the parishioners and the priest!
