Beautiful CofE church. They have daily services. Inside the decor is very of the period. Has a wheelchair entrance which is always good. It's a welcoming place for a quiet prayer. The church is quite big once you enter it. You wouldn't think it was from the outside. They're taking donations to restore the Christ outside which was damaged in a storm.

Like many other churches there is the lunchtime concert and recital. Here at Saint saviour's church pimlico they start on Friday at 1:15.
On Wednesdays between 11 and 12:30 there is what the church calls 'Tea and chatter' Where you can come and have a cuppa and a biscuit while you procrastinate the day away, All are welcome😊

I love churches and it's not because I'm religious. I actually don't follow any religion. However the architecture of these buildings is fantastic. This is a huge church, at least from the outside. It was closed so I was not able to view it from the inside. But I like what I see so far.

This is a beautifully designed building from the 1800's with a very light and airy nave that leads you to the sanctuary. Two aisles (North and South) also lead you to the focus of the religious purpose and the location of a fantastic stained glass window and magnificent alter. Looking upwards the plain lead glass windows let the light in and all around the lower level are a number of stained glass windows portraying a variety of scenes. The church tower and spire are tall, elegant and fitted with lovely clock faces. There is a church history and guide available full of detail and a donation can be made for the church upkeep. It is a peaceful church and religious or not well worth a visit.

My local, beautiful, Victorian Church. The Vicar et al have always been welcoming to me but particularly to my late 95 year old Mother, who was in a wheelchair. God bless.
