I had a very good experience. I attended for a few weeks to get a feel for the church, attended RCIA for a bit, and spoke with many practicing Catholics, many of which were my age surprisingly, to get any information, insights, and suggestions for how to strengthen my relationship with God (I'm trying to find the right church for me). Almost every time I went, something the parish priest spoke about stuck with me. It was an experience unlike any other, and I highly recommend anyone looking to convert to Christianity to look towards the Catholic faith. The Church also does a good job accounting for the ethnic diversity of the area we live in, and holds Spanish mass for non-english speakers.

Sadly, I stopped attending because of work, which requires me to work nights and work on Sundays, and I'm also planning to move to another location once I get the chance, I'm thankful to Father Jon for talking to me personally and making me comfortable at the church and I will certainly be considering Catholicism as I visit other churches and denominations.

Catholics are a minority in Arkansas so St. Mary's is the only Catholic church in Independence County. Its pastor also serves St. Cecilia's in Jackson County. The downside to this is that the mass schedule is very tight. Otherwise, this is a friendly and welcoming Christian community.
