I went to Sunday mass. What a beautiful experience. The parishioners were friendly and welcoming. The pastor's sermon was thought provoking. The choir was beautiful and the scenery around the church is breathtaking!

We just walk through the gardens so this review is not about the church in any way. The gardens are still beautiful but nothing like they use to be! Such a shame that that all the hard work that was once put into making this a must see stop in Sedona is being slowly let fall into ruins. I hope the church comes to its sense & hires some gardeners instead of lawn guys. Still worth the time if you're in the area.

We weren't able to attend a Mass at this Church but we came in the afternoon to visit the chapel and to look at the artwork around the outside of the Church, which was definitely worth the trip. The Jesus statue was very intriguing. The our Lady of Guadalupe statue with the Sedona rock formations in the background was beautiful. I have never seen the sacred hearts done in metal that have so much detail. If you are into Catholic Art this is a must see!

Yes, the garden is not anymore like the book " the sedona Gardens of Saint John vianney" by Reverend J.C Ortiz ,also I was there Sunday, September 29 for SAINT. Francis blessing of the animals the Priest with a heavy accent didn't even touch anyone animal ?
