Beautiful dignified church , a Church of England church. Good church community. St George's was built in 1864. The architect was E. Bassett Keeling. St Georges has been tastefully improved to make better use of the space. I remember well the splendid Revd Michael Fuller who served here for many years , and is now at St Cyprians in London.
