A beautiful church from 1900s. The architect was a genius. It's a high Anglican church. It's got some stained glass windows like the ancient gothic churches, even though it's only built in 1903. Has amazing architecture and paintings of Jesus and the saints.

St Cyprian's ( Church of England ) is an interesting church. Peaceful church in busy central London. Active church, concerts inter alia. This was the first complete church designed by Bucknall and Comper 1902-1903. Light and spacious interior. The interior is one of the most preserved examples of Comper's early architectural style. The altar, in the new progressive English mode of the time, has riddel-posts with gilded angels and a low painted dorsal. The stained glass of the East window was completed gradually around the central figure of the Virgin. ( The Buildings of England. London 3 : North West by Bridget Cherry and Nikolaus Pevsner ). Close to Baker Street tube station. The splendid Revd Michael Fuller is here, I remember him well from St Georges, Campden Hill and St Mary Abbots, Kensington.
