St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church is a cute one! It is in the traditional cruciform shape. They have Sunday english and spanish mass options. It felt very peaceful here. We met the new priest while checking out the church and he was very nice and welcoming. It's in downtown Wickenburg and hard to miss.

The people here are such wonderful people, always willing to help anyone. The staff is amazing with so much dedication to doing things for others. I can't say enough about them. God bless all of them for all they do everyday for our community. Without the help I have received from them I don't know where my children and I would be right now. +JMJ...Love visiting area Catholic Churches no matter where I travel. Visited this Church during my first trip ever to Arizona, 2011. This was a spiritual gem to discover. The town of Wickenburg is a historical delight and was so very glad to be able to visit a Catholic Church which is still vibrant in the community. As a matter of fact, during this weekday visit, was blessed to see a Hispanic prayer group in progress. Now that I live in Arizona, since 2013, hope to one day revisit many of the towns I was able to visit during 2011. Am sharing photos taken in, around the Church and some in the town of Wickenburg.

St. Anthony of Padua Church is a gem in downtown Wickenburg. A beautiful interior in the style of the Southwest Missions, hand painted and embellished by many First Class Relics of the Saints. The Crucifix, the Corpus, is exquisite, an original work commissioned for this Parish. Antique, hand-carved statues of St. Francis and St. Anthony of Padua adorn their respective niches on either side of the church. Heartfelt Masses occur throughout the week under the direction of Fr. Jose Lobaton, OFM, a deeply Franciscan Priest. Many social and charitable events also take place on the church grounds fueled by the energy of the parishioners, such as a food bank. This parish is a welcome haven in the open desert foothills of Wickenburg, Arizona.
