I have been volunteering here 10+ years and I have so appreciated the delightful and insightful conversations I have had with Debbie and working with other volunteers! The variety of animals are so fun to work with. Each with their own unique and spunky personality. I’ve always felt safe here and I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to gain confidence being around animals since I didn’t grow up with pets. There are some really cool resources they offer here and their willingness to help people through their situations. I will always be thankful for my experiences at Straightening Reins!

SRD is an amazing non profit. I have been able to experience all the wonderful things they do since I was in undergrad which was many years ago. They are a huge advocate for mental health and provide a wide variety of services for different populations. Debbie and the crew at SRD are genuinely amazing people. You can truly see how much they care for their clients and animals when you work with them. I volunteered with SRD while I was in high school and had an amazing time working with them. They have had a big impact on people throughout the valley, and especially in the local schools. The folks at SRD do amazing work.

I have been volunteering here since 2012. SRD has helped me tremendously throughout the years especially during my time as a teenager. I took a couple years out but came back last year bringing my family with me. When I came back, it felt as if I never left. We have been volunteering since and I would strongly encourage you to come here. Debbie is very nice, welcoming, and will listen to you if you just need someone to talk to. There are just so many positive things I can say about this place!

We have no words to thank SRD for all the support they have given us. We are parents of three wonderful children, the oldest was diagnosed with mild development delay, then another sweet girl and the youngest with ADHD. When we arrived here, we had a nice experience that involved our entire family, we have been connected to this wonderful non-profit for many years. It is incredible to see how horses, donkeys and goats can help in therapies. Endless thanks to SRD and Debbie Rocha for everything they give to our community, always concerned about Mental Health.

Debbie is a horrible person. Child was crying and didn't want to go back to father after she told the therapist that she was scared of father. Mother has video and audio of visit. Debbie out of all people should know the danger of not listening to children when they are crying out for help. In response to SRD response. So for sure more then one person had a bad experience here. The people I know that was here only one time.
