The most consistent thing about this place is the complete lack of consistency.
The physical therapy/occupational therapy (an entity unto itself) is very good.

The therapy team is efficient 10/10. Nursing was great 9/10 attentive cared,for my needs and pleasant. Housekeeping was good room was clean. Housekeeping even waxed floors while I was here. Overall, I did not want to be here, but I am leaving pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed my experience!

Over the years my family has had many negative experiences with rehab and assisted living facilities. We had never been as satisfied anywhere as we were at SLSCR. The friendliness and the kindness that their staff showed to my father was outstanding and greatly appreciated.

I absolutely love the day shift! They are so loving and welcoming!! Always make my family feel like my grandpa is being well taken care of! But the night shift is not very nice! They make me feel very sad about leaving my grandpa there! I feel like he is completely neglected! I wish I had the ability to take care of him at my own home. Because of the things my grandpa shares with me from the night shift is very concerning.

Our mom was in and out over a period of a year..finally full time resident. Ruthie as they called, her was so well taken care of. Even the kitchen staff was attentive. Every place will have great, good and bad people. My mom was left by an attendant in the bathroom by herself..she could have fallen. I complained and she was gone the next day. Her nurses were awesome. It's not the newest place, not the fanciest. But it is the quality of care that counts and our mom received top-notch care.

If I could give them negative stars I would! My grandma was a resident here for a little bit and they were terrible! They left my grandma in bed from 7pm until 10am, sometimes even later than that, both her and her roommate amongst many other residents had their call button pushed for restroom assistance and didn’t even care to help, so my grandma got a UTI! Please, if you’re looking for somewhere to take your loved one, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!

My mom is a resident here and I have only wonderful things to say about the facility and staff. They are all amazing! The nurses and aids are so caring and loving about their residents. I am so blessed that I have found a place for my mom to make her new home.
