Smith’s in Evanston is an okay store—not too big, not too small, and it has most of what you need. The staff is friendly, and the store is clean, but the prices feel a bit high compared to other places. Some deals are good, but overall, it’s a bit overpriced for a small-town grocery store. Great people and great prices. The quality and selection is remarkable considering how small Evanston is. We travel almost 80 miles round trip to shop here and the quality and savings really make it worth it. Plus, Travis is king of the baggers!

Staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The prices are getting way too expensive, though. Also, the product selections seem to be getting lower and lower as time goes forward. I do like the new gas station.

Generally, I enjoy shopping here. However, there are items that I would like to have that are not available, such as Blue cheese wedges rather than crumbles. Shop early in the day because produce is not often restocked in the afternoon. All in all, it is a good place to shop with friendly people and services.

Staff at this store is great. Very friendly and always helpful. Produce not so great. Small selection, often wilted or rotten. I wish this store expanded to provide adequate supply of groceries for the town and its ALLl visitors.
