We are extremely thankful my 5 kids needed beds due to us having to suddenly move because the roof caved in and flooded out our old house so we moved and barely had anything SHP came and put together 2 bunk beds and 1 single bed for my kids they were fast,professional even engaged with the kids and made there Christmas come early and before leaving prayed with us ..the best experience we have had again we are so Thankful and the kids love there rooms now thank you to all the staff and volunteers at SHP

SHP Western Wayne chapter has helped so many children in our area who did not have a bed of their own to sleep in! I am so proud to serve with all of these wonderful people helping to make sure no one in our town sleeps on the floor!!! Builds are a lot of work, yet fun and we have met so many wonderful people! I wasn’t that comfortable around all the tools and Wendell trained us and now we are able to train our wonderful volunteers who help us! Delivering the beds is PRICELESS! These families especially the children are so appreciative and the smiles and hugs are top notch! It is so rewarding to be able to help someone else with something most of us take for granted! I always look forward to our builds and deliveries! I hope more chapters develop in our area so we can get more kids off the floor!!!

This place is truly a blessing! They provided my children with a nice sturdy bunk bed as well as mattresses, pillows and comforter sets. We are beyond grateful for their time, dedication and hard work. Places like this are vital. Especially to families with financial difficulties, and those that are coming out of unfortunate situations.

Have worked with them on several occasions. It's very heartwarming to see the looks on the kids faces when the beds are delivered to them. The group is doing a great job in delivering beds to kids who don't have any. There is no cost to the families. Money and help are always welcome to the group to help cover the costs and to build and deliver the beds.

I’ve volunteered at their bed builds and deliveries. This group is focused and organized. The core group is knowledgeable and dedicated. The work is important. The builds are fun. People get to actually construct beds. Seeing kids crawl into their new bed, all dressed with sheets and comforter-priceless.
