This is in regards to staff handling and security issues raising my concern. I tried on one incident in march to report a concern and was led the wrong direction. Then tonight my relay to get to security was falsely relayed and when I spoke to whom is security blew it off and made a false statement about my concern without even knowing my concern and details. They aren’t doing their job. The sheriffs department was who I was referred to. The very own sheriff department said the security officers had let me down and should have helped me. To hear this from our very own sheriff department in Douglas county that I was not helped pertaining to information of a crime, the Mayors line will be contacted to help with the issue of security and the recorded call which was handled with no security, if I can’t get to the Sienna CEO office..security is not enough and are not doing their job, maybe a police needs to be here or the city to shut this place down..it seems crimes are being harbored here and allowed and known. The city needs to know and the CEO and its secretary I plan to contact tomorrow - ladies side said I was a sheriff not true, was hung up on with the men’s side the second attempt to call and report the very own security officer who was abusing and offensive towards my concern of safety at Sienna. I was rudely told that they can’t give me a name and I never asked for this tonight. Kind of felt that it was handled unprofessionally and I now understand their not doing their job and hope Omaha police and City Office are aware that’s most likely why they’re called everyday. I do understand they can’t give names. Security made it seem as if I was someone rude not understanding - not to be holding back but I do find security is a scam here; trafficking, rape and possible blackmailing and drugging women luring them to hotels and lacing of drugs? I had to call and make a report about part of this (tiny part) and mostly about the incident that took place with me to the local authorities and mentioned security here as non emergency did take care of an issue that security cannot give me the time to state; interrupted me purposely..related to concerns of rape, trafficking, possible blackmailing, drugs, and prostitution. Due to this, the CEO will be contacted during business hours. Im already not expecting a result from Siennas CEO so that’s why im counting on the city..fully understand that the security and staff tonight isn’t taking concern and doing their job; the police wouldn’t be showing up everyday or as much if they did a simple job called security, how hard is it for security here to take a major concern? Just because being buff and tall doesn’t mean you qualify.. bc of the first handling by security in march this is why I had a gut feeling to record the call, in case anyone wants to defend security here: People do lie and manipulate and this is security here manipulating, rudely interfering with security issue(s); accused me falsely of a name deal and made the call look as if it wasn’t. I would be more than happy to address this monitored call to discuss this situation with the CEO of Sienna Shelter. At this point, I feel for safety here security is causing the problem here and allowing it when will the city shut this shelter down? This place is harboring criminals here that have don’t have warrants, is it not bazaar how often the above matters go underreported? Nobody here has it all under control not even security. It’s like nothing is getting worked on but crime under the table.

I don't even stay here but I have a friend who does.

This places treatment of the homeless is absolutely disgusting, borderline abusive, and is inhumane.
There's theft, from both residents AND staff, the food is absolutely horrendous, and not even enough to keep them satisfied for longer than 2-3 hours. On top of that, there are bed bugs, hard drugs, and so much crime.

I wouldn't even describe it as bottom of the barrel. Please, if possible, avoid staying here. It's not worth the emotional torment and abuse you will face.

The facilities are unhygienic beyond comprehension. As previously mentioned there's bed bugs, but there is black mold in the showers, and so much sickness it's morbidly laughable.

On the topic of sickness, they mistreat people with both physical and mental illness and health issues. If you're apart of any form of minority, be it LGBTQ, different race, disabled, or even just a woman, don't stay here for your own safety and well-being.

There are crimes committed here day by day, with people being kicked out, banned and barred, arrested, etc. Not a safe space for families, women, or anyone at all.

Overall, if you enjoy not being covered head to toe in bug bites, being moderately hygienic, being somewhat healthy, and having decent physical and mental health, don't stay here. It's not worth the pain, and as others have mentioned you're better off on the street.

TLDR: This is the worst shelter you could stay at. Avoid it like the plague.

Considering how much money these people are blowing on DoorDash. They clearly are not that needy. They can afford a moral luxurious lifestyle than I can.

I wouldn’t bother donating money to them. Clearly, expendable income is not their problem.

The experience is like this they feed you in child-like portions at every meal and they don't like people asking for seconds they tell you to hit the now the miracle program next treats you better and feeds you but there's a 60 day wait to be let into the program

Been here a few days and there's been a stabbing, constant fights, people openly smoking crack and injecting drugs. Staff sees it and doesn't even care. They tell you to be proactive about doing things here, then when you try and speak with the staff, they tell you to piss off, or might as well.

When I tried to call and speak to someone to have them try to see if someone was there they refused to do that. They were rude and hung up on me like three times very rude very inconsiderate.

What is usually a pleasant experience today was aweful experience. The lady at the front counter seemed to take pride in making things difficult.
The gentleman wanted to make remarks like do I think I have a VIP pass because I want to get here early.....the gentleman who is usually there just sat there quietly.. good reminder to keep working and stay away from places like these
