We are incredibly grateful for the generous donation of shoes provided for our patients. These shoes are invaluable, especially as our patients often need durable footwear, particularly during the cold season. For many, not having shoes is a barrier to being discharged from the hospital. Dr. Diamond has played a vital role in ensuring that our unhoused community members have access to high-quality shoes that protect them from the elements here at LA General Medical Center. His kindness and dedication are deeply appreciated by both our staff and patients. Thank you for making such a meaningful impact!

This organization is fantastic. What a great idea to collect shoes that will go to people without shoes. I have volunteered a number of times. Everyone is focused on getting the job done, and they are having a good time.

I volunteer at the Uptown Community Service Center in San Diego where services are provided for homeless and lower income people. We always have a need for shoes.
My wife came across "Shoes for the Homeless" and contacted their founder Ira Diamond who was more than happy to hear what we do and help us out.
When we met him in LA he quietly indicated we could have more
shoes than our original request. All in all, it was a pleasure working with this organization and hopefully we can work with them in the future. The work they do and essential goal they have is certainly worth any contribution that you could make.

What a wonderful experience I had working with Ira from Shoes For The Homeless. I emailed with an initial enquiry asking about their program and he responded immediately and to all the follow up emails. Their website is easy to navigate and provides lots of important information on their mission and how you can get involved. We drove to LA to pick up the very generous donation of both men's and women's shoes and socks that we will be given to Uptown Community Service Center in San Diego for their unsheltered clients. We are so very grateful and can't thank Ira enough.

If you can help this great organization with your gently used shoes, time or money, know that it will make a difference to so many people.

Shoes for the Homeless and Ira were amazing. They donated over 200 shoes to our organization ProjectRopa to allow us to continue our mission of helping our unhoused neighbors. If you need to donate shoes please donate them here the shoes will go directly out into the community to help others.
