If the middle aged woman with the bugundy colored bob style hair is an employee? She needs to b fired. If she is a volunteer? She needs to b replaced! I was an onlooker observing the way she treats the clients and runs the share food pantry on willow pass rd. It’s the day before thanksgiving and I just watched her take in a donation from Safeway at around 9:30am stop serving clients while her and other staff picked threw the donations for them selves and their family’s while talking about dinner reservations for her upcoming birthday right in front of the growing line of clients whom are mothers with babies and children as well as elderly who have all been standing in the cold for over an hour. When someone asked if they were giving out food t today she orders the door closed for another half hour. Not one client was served for over an hour and fifteen mins standing in the cold then at noon the door opens and they put a closed for lunch sign on the door.. I’m also going to file a complaint on her with the church that is housing this program. It needs to b reformed seriously and urgently!!

Hi I am stopping by to let the community know how hard the volunteers at Share are working for you. Share is 100% ran by volunteers there is absolutely no payroll costs. Most of the people who volunteer are retired and spending their time taking care of as many people as they can every day of the week! Everyone that volunteers has compassion for every single person that walks through those doors. Some days are thankless and some days we all feel very blessed to do what we do. EVERYONE receives the same kinds of foods. If we are low on supplies we will put some stuff aside for families with kids such as peanut butter, cereal and milk. Everything we receive is thru donations from the fresh produce to the canned goods we can only give what we have. I can 100% guarantee you that every race, every gender, every housed person, every unhoused person is treated the same. If we did not love people we would not be volunteering our precious time. Some days we may need a little compassion also, we are human too.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Have women and children out in the cold while they stayed inside and FOOLED off then AFTER AN HOUR of WOMEN AND CHILDREN closed for lunch . Didnt serve no one at ALL in that hour. THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING TOO.

Both of the women volunteers are rude. The gentleman there are the only ones who have any kind of compassion. If your first please be aware that they will treat you like trash. I asked a simple question, if there was a sign up sheet, and the lady roared at me saying you need to wait outside. I went to my car and cried. I came back to asked what the reason for the rudeness and instead talked to a 77 year old woman and she was confused also as they were rude to her as well. So I called and asked why wasshe being rude when I only asked one question and the volunteer hung up on me. I called back and the other female volunteer answered and tried to tell me that the first rude lady wasn't being rude she didn't have time to answer my questions and I said ma'am I only asked one question and that was, is there a sign up sheet that's all. That lady also hung up on me after saying we are all volunteers, and I told her it won't hurt anyone to be kind and have compassion as it is the holidays and it's already humbling for people to ask for a
handout. Then she hung upon me again. I pray that these ladies volunteering at this church has some compassion and kindness and to stop looking at the color of people's skin treating them rude, and to learn to have love and compassion in their hearts.

This food pantry is biased against white citizens..favor Hispanic and un married mothers including undocumented aliens..the bags of food given to me were canned veggies.. macaroni.and pizza sauce..no fresh veg..mild or eggs. Meat..when asked..?what about milk? No. We give milk and eggs to mothers with children..very biased.. emptied the bags and returned canned Vegas and any " left overs that Hispanic s and unwed mothers would not want"

I've been visiting here for the past few years. Had a chance to speak with the president of the board. If you are in need of supplemental food for your family or yourself this is a place you can come to. Their hours are listed on their website. You can also leave small donations on the waiting benches. Be respectful of the Montessori school on-site and after all it is on church grounds.

They gave me a bunch of cookies, candy, bread products. I’ve gotten great food here before not sure why they thought I could feed my family a bunch of junk food and not be able to come back for an entire month. Prior visits I’ve left with meat, veggies, milk, eggs, even butter. This last time they provided me with a bunch of junk food that was expired one dozen of eggs, and a couple of canned goods. I would have much rather taken a bunch of cans vs cookies, candy, cakes, etc. this is not food, this is a bunch of junk that my kids cannot even eat due to their strict diets of not being able to eat sugar and overly processed stuff.

AWFUL service. The women who sit all day in the front are rude and inpatient.
You're a business. You call yourself a "nonprofit" so you can reap government and altruistic funding, overpay yourselves for doing NOTHING and BEHAVING ENTITLED.

They treat everyone as if they were drug addicted losers. The employees are angry overweight seniors that are in no condition to "serve"the public. The are bitter, angry, and can barely walk.

This is the second time and last time I put up with low class employees. You low class ppl don't deserve a moment of my precious lifetime so I'll walk away yet do my part and inform others so that they may choose if possible.

Have some dignity people. No one should allow themselves to be treated less than reasonably.

It's reasonable to expect professional and courteous service. You're not volunteering 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
