My first visit to this church was an exceptional experience today. They are starting up on the ground floor.
The vibe was great and I love that almost all of the 15-20 participants were first time attendees.
With that, no one group are set in their ways and all new ideas are welcome.
Young, middle age, seniors were all in attendance. If you are on the sideline looking at forging your pathway of worship I encourage all to give this church a try.

My first experience at SUMC was wonderful! The friendliness and compassion of the members there is truly genuine and welcoming! Pastor Fred Mast gives great sermons, I have learned so much about our Lord Jesus Christ, his life, his messages and his desires for us all to love one another and leave judgment to Him. I always come away feeling that I have received a good message. This church feels like a big extended family. I know that there are not many families with youngsters in this part of our community ( Big Park school is now closed), but the great kids involved in Young Life today will soon be bringing their future children and families here to SUMC and we welcome them all with open arms! All of the Missions projects have been successful and continue to be so. I am especially thankful for this little church and the members who support it. Pastor Fred and his wife Jenny work so hard, and I appreciate all that they do!

Older congregation. Not interested is getting younger members to keep church alive for tomorrow. Many members are just plain rude. Only one service weekly. Not focused on "teaching" about Jesus.

If you want a church that will make you feel like you are home then go here. The people in this church are the most welcoming people out there and Pastor Fred is such an amazing man!

Nice church service .... typical Methodist service ....traditional old-fashioned songs... mostly older people .....very few families.... very very few people under 30 years old..... short sermon enjoyed it very much

God's Word is faithfully preached every Sunday, the people are warmly welcoming, and the after-service fellowship provides good company and tasty snacks .SUMC is a good place to be.
