We came in interested in a dog we saw on their website and ended up having to wait in a 30 min line even though we had an appointment to view him. Firstly they need more staff and better customer service. Staff were grumpy. When it was our turn they said we couldn’t interact with him because he was a biter and scared. He was put all the way in the back with the other dogs that were also not available for interaction due to behavior. When we took a look at him we could see he was not aggressive just a scared pup. The staff were not very encouraging in our interest for him but we disregarded as we had felt he was a good dog just scared in his situation. The moment he stepped in our home he was a totally different pup. Licking, playing, affectionate, he is living his best life! 🐶I encourage anyone to not let the staff discourage you from your interest in a dog. They’ve only been with them for a short period of time in this scary place, of course they are going to be cautious around humans! He is also a puppy and teething. Who knows what these poor things have been through, save an animals life!

I adopted my fur baby there in dec 2023.
She had kennel cough and could not get fixed before she came home. I brought her back for the surgery and i was not told that my dog would not be getting a cone to go home with after surgery. I found out when i picked her up. I had to buy one on the way home. So be prepared! My over all experience was just ok. 4 stars because I love my doggy and she is living her best life now.

My beloved dog got lost and a good citizen took him here, however when I was meet upon was I couldn’t get him the day.. excuse me what. I had proof he is mine and I had to pay a HUGE amount to get him BACK. This institution is a horrible place to even have an animal here. To any prospect students who want to gain experience do not come here. To any citizen wanting to get an animal please do so they don’t stay in this place.

I also got uncomfortable vibes being here.

Adopted my adorable Tali here in August and couldn’t be happier! Her adoption fee was low cost and reasonable plus the staff were so kind to us! Thank you for all that you do and for helping connect us to our loved pet!

We also just got her spayed here and the results were excellent 🙂

I wish I could give 0 stars!! I have literally been waiting on hold for an hour and a half. First there was the general music and someone telling me what number I was in line for 45 minutes and now it has been ringing off the hook for another 20 minutes. I am trying to inquire about the status of a group of PUPPIES that are due for euthanasia today (even though the shelter isn't actually full!) and no one is picking up the phone! How are they operating at this place? This is criminal!

Do NOT leave a pet you found injured or sick here! If you did, go back and get them ASAP. I say this from personal experience there. They kill the stray cat I sent because I thought they would help her but they did not treat her and in 2 days of being there she died because they neglected her.
If they would've disclose that they don't help sick kitties I would've search elsewhere but they did not.
They will not care for animals adequately, if you want to give an animal a better chance of surviving please take them to a local vet and get them the care they need. There's also many Facebook pages that have groups of communities that help care for animals and provide resources.
This shelter prioritizes their profits for themselves rather than the care of the pets.

Horrible facility. The dogs have no beds, no toys, the animals are all terrified and depressed. The dog I rescued was 98 lbs and sharing a cage with another dog. There is absolutely nothing being done to make the animals comfortable. Heartless , lack of empathy for these animals. Please rescue a dog by either adopting or fostering a dog from this kill facility.
