My time at the Schoodic Institute, ME was nothing short of incredible. The entire staff truly goes above and beyond with their customer service and their genuine love for the subjects they teach.
It’s rare to find a place with such a magical and pristine environment, where nature and education blend seamlessly. There aren’t many places left in the US like this–an unforgettable experience that I can’t recommend enough!

This is an excellent visitors center. The volunteers are super friendly and informative about things to do on the Schoodic Peninsula. The facility is spotless and well maintained and has multiple restrooms too. We had a delightful chat with them staff. The. Scenery on Schoodic Point is spectacular.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and stay on the Schoodic Institute campus. Our cabin was perfect and everyone was genuinely so pleasant & knowledgeable about the area. On our last day we spotted the cutest little baby seal sunbathing. 10 out of 10 experience and I hope to return one day.

Fantastic grounds with gorgeous well maintained trails leading out to several beautiful views of the ocean with benches for sitting and enjoying. Parking was easy and we hardly saw anyone, a really nice break from the large crowds in the main park on MDI. Bring bug spray.

Great spot for a group to gather for events. Meals in the food hall are great and the staff are very friendly accommodating and helpful. Apartments are damp and musty smelling but it's been that kind of summer everywhere, they need decent dehumidifiers in there. Windows are a bit hard to open. Many great trails for walking and biking. Overall it's a great spot.
