Volunteer here! This was my second time volunteering here. This time we sorted and boxed apples. It was a great workout for the mind and body. Oscar lead the teams with his charm and wit. He really makes the whole experience a pleasure.

SF-Marin Food Bank has been distributing food since April 2020 and provide a much needed service to our surrounding Community. They are a delight to work with and always bring a plethora of volunteers. We look forward to continuing this symbiotic relationship and being a resource within the Community.

First time delivering here. There’s a lot of construction happening on this property as looks like they are expanding and or renovating. The employees were friendly and helpful. Tomas in receiving was super nice.
Man outside on street helped with directions getting in and out. I was a bit nervous about coming here not knowing what kind of room there is for big rigs. Turns out it’s not too bad, once you get to the docks after going around entire building. All went smooth from there. 👍🏻

This is a great place to volunteer. The work is easy, and very well-coordinated. The staff are friendly and efficient. They have everything super organized, so it's easy to step in and get to work. At the end of your shift, they tally all you've done and announce a final total of food pounds processed. You leave knowing that you've done some important work for the community.

The Food Bank is a great place for groups of all ages to volunteer, from ten year-olds to seniors. It would be a good place for a company volunteer event, too. Just make sure to plan several weeks in advance. The Food Bank can't accommodate groups as walk-ins.

We volunteer here with our kids to both help the community and for school credits. The food bank is very nicely run...clean, well organized, and the people who lead the volunteer groups have good energy and are dedicated. Thank you all for the important work that you do, and for having a well run facility.

The place is very organized and utilizes tech well for operations.I volunteered stuffing food bags at their Pennsylvania warehouse and a few pop-up clinics. It was an enjoyable experience and I met some great people.

Thank goodness for food banks. What is given now for food stamps wouldn't feed a person for a week if that. I don't understand why a rich state like CA could be so callous, especially towards elders and the young.
