I had the pleasure of being Professionally assisted by Ms. Loan Chau & aside from her Professional demeanor she was a very nice, warm Human Being. I'd hoped to see Ms McGuire who, apparently, no longer works at HSA 1235 Mission St so I was Blessed to be assisted by the very warm & knowledgeable Ms Loan Chau.
She was in the right position, doing the apropos detailed work for the Job she's assigned to at 1235 Mission St SF, CA (94103). There's more & I need to address: James Choi & Cynthia Sanchez to be able to speak/correspond properly.

I feel like this place could be a hit or miss, and BOY I WAS ABSOLUTELY LUCKY. My life was seriously on the line, recovering from violence and was in search of a shelter or just anywhere where I can be safe.
They helped me get an ID, a shelter, food stamps and ALOT OF RESOURCES. I think here, depending on who you talk to, your experience might be incredibly frustrating or it can hit the nail right on the head. Thank you guys for saving my life 😎✌❤

Some not all of the case managers treat you as if you’re attempting to screw over them, case declined even though proof of multiple times hospitalized in a week, case wrecker even with release docs and PCP note still denied reinstating, kept asking for bank statement for same month tho not yet available and bank account frozen from fraudulent charges, but insisted on at least transactions on account which one can’t make when account frozen. Bank in the Neg, no funds through the holidays, still not fully recovered from multiple visits to ER, internet and phone service suspended…
if emergency occurs I can’t call to get a ride to ER.
Had to Visit friend, to use landline and WiFi.
I was told bycwAAAPto stick around by phone call from supervisor, never called i guess I have to chance MUNI FARE EVASION citation… take a canvce and go trip to CAAP .

I have made 3 online appointments with Joe Worker and he has not attending any. The VA stated this is the only individual who can help me with my disability claim. Great! I can't even get the guy to pick up the phone.

A staff that uses their energy in the majority to judge people and entertain themselves rather than help. They choose to help people in the least effective ways to continue to pad their pockets while a person that is homeless may only qualify for potentially $105/month. Realistically, that is not enough money to get a pair of shoes, a respectable outfit and haircut to try to find a job or do something else professionally. The staff that told me this, was chuckling as they told me. If you go, make sure to think of every question you need to ask to get the proper help. Their staff and security treat people with less respect than you see given to animals in CA. Evolutionary benign.

People come to SF for the drugs that are already here. They stay because they can usually find a way to evade being held accountable by sheriffs/police, law enforcement like the DA, and the courts. Trent Rhorer is equally responsible for harming residents and children under the HSA. They are protecting abusers and criminals in lieu of holding the city/state/federal government employees accountable. Using the most vulnerable people to create a wellfare industrial complex. Now blaming “transplants”, the homeless, and addicts the city avoids getting to the real issue. They profited from this for years just to call for more funds for law enforcement when things get hot. The system is already failing as mismanagement of public funds was uncovered. In turn they give the illusion that SF will be saved by "creating jobs" through programs like JobsNow. The only people getting paid are cops, attorneys, medical professionals, social workers, or people working with the government and so on and so forth... only some can afford to enjoy freedom while those in line here and at 170 Otis are scruitinized and cherry picked for services. Those that speak out are punished and discriminated against. This disparity creates more of an incentive for people to feel presure to make "fast money" as prices sky rocket. Politicizations, wars, crime, and border invasions broadcast on media outlets make it more chaotic and hostile. This contributes to the sense of inevitably that "the system" is inescapable. Courthouses, community services, and most non profits comply and cooperate with this dystopian capitalist society all to make a dollar.

I just called trying to navigate my health coverage changing from Covered California to MediCal and Jaygo? and I were cut off as he was explaining how to get my empty prescriptions filled before my card arrives, which he noticed wasn't ordered..so he did that. sh!t, how am I going to get him on the line again0
Then he called me back! and left me a message explaining in detail how I can get those medications and a plan B if that didn't work!
