Worst customer service EVER. Sent a damaged grill. Delivery dropped at the end of our driveway with no notice. Took 2 months and HOURS on the phone to get it taken care of. Today I've been on the phone for 45 minutes with 5 different people and they actually transferred me to Walmart customer service. FFS.

It's very clean and easy to find what you're looking for. It's a little costly but what isn't this day. The few people I spoke to were pleasant. The checkout line was crazy but I did the self checkout on my phone so it didn't take me any time to get out of there. All in all it wasn't a bad visit.

Great place so long as you have ZERO ISSUES with purchases.

Purchased a prismatic Christmas tree. The star malfunctioned less than 24 hours after plugging it in. The tree doesn't work so long as the star is plugged in.

I figured, not a big deal, I'll just call and get it sorted. I called their 888 number. Don't do that. I could barely understand the person on the other end of the line. He was also very apathetic, couldn't really care less what was wrong and gave me NO options other than a full return process. The tree is beautiful so I'd like to keep it. The star is ALL that needs to be replaced.

I call the store. The lady was not apathetic, she was very understanding and also had no option but a full return or exchange. Cool! I can exchange it. Not cool, they refuse to let me just get the replacement from a new box and give them the old one. Literally saving me 2 hours of labor and them labor in tearing down the now fully assembled tree in my yard.

Okay.... Fine. I'll just do the exchange.

It's a limited item, very low stock. "I'll be there tomorrow for the exchange. Can you hold one for me please." Absolutely not. Not only will they not hold it for me but they claim there is NO OPTION to do so.

Obviously, we all know that's false but here we are.

So.... Yeah, it's great to shop here so long as you have NO issues with their products. They are unwilling to make exceptions. My only assumption is that these problems happen SO OFTEN they refuse to make exceptions.

Meijer, Hobby Lobby, heck even 5 Bellow would AT LEAST offer a 24 hour hold. They have a lot to make up for in customer service when there are issues with their OWN product line.

First we have been Sam’s club members for years and have had super positive experiences all over the country until the gas at Mt Pleasant MI Sam’s club. All we did was drive into the pump area and we heard this bellowing over the speaker hey black suv turn your vehicle around or I will turn off the pump 3.I did speak to an associate on the phone I did not get her name telling her I did not think threatening premium members was appropriate. I can’t believe someone would do this on a regular basis and I sure hope not.There was a woman and man in the hut and the man said it. It was 2:00 p.m. Jan 2, 2025. The woman smiled as we drove away and we sure did. In 53 years I have NEVER had anything like this happen. I wrote this because I don’t want another member to experience this harassment.

DAWN GAVE ME A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, TALKING TO ME AND TREATING ME AS IF I WAS DOING SOMETHING WRONG, AS IF I WAS A THIEF. DAWN IS RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, BAD ATTITUDE, AND DIDN'T EVEN SEEM LIKE SHE WANTED TO BE THERE.

I went in today and found 2 toys that I had previously bought, a month and a half ago. I bought them as Christmas gifts and the price had gone down by like $30. Great, I brought the 2 toys to the service desk and asked if they did any kind of price match for that. DAWN was there, no smile, no friendly demeanor, she told me they had a 30 price match policy so they couldn't price match the difference. I asked her what the return policy was, and if I could repurchase the 2 toys and return one of the sets. She paused and stared at me with a judgmental attitude. Then said yes that the return policy was 90 days. She seemed very bothered that I was even talking to her. So I used scan and go and repurchased the two toys along with my other groceries. I came back in the store wanting to do the return seeing as though I was already there. Standing in line, I hoped I wouldn't get DAWN, she was extremely unwelcoming and very rude. But of course, she was the next available cashier. I told her I wanted to do overturn, and she very rudely said "arent these the ones you just purchased" I tried to show her that I had both receipts. One where I purchased the 2 toys at the end of October, and the receipt from today, where I repurchased the 2 toys. She was extremely rude, despite just telling me she could do a return, she no longer wanted to and was talking to me as if i was trying to "scam" her or the company. She treated me and talked to me like I was a thief. She told me I had to bring in all 4 of the toys and show them to her. I made a comment about keeping my christmas presents in my car (not wanting my children to see they're gifts and this being one of them) and she responded "then it shouldn't be a problem for you to go get them". She talked to me as if I was a thief, as if I was trying to do something wrong, she treated me with no respect, or kindness. She said she wouldn't do any kind of return until I brought all 4 toys in for her to see. I had enough of her belittling me. As a customer, I should not be treated like a thief and be made to jump through hoops to make a return.

Another associate who is very kind called AMBER up to the front for me to talk to. I explained the situation and the way that DAWN treated me, talk to me and made me feel. In all actuality, I had the other 2 presents already rapped for Christmas. I could go get them and bring them in and unwrap them, but that was besides the point. DAWN SHOULD NOT BE TREATING CUSTOMERS THAT WAY. DAWN especially as a manager should not be treating customers that way. I shop there all the time, and i've never once even seen her be friendly.
Amber was kind, completely diffused the situation, listened to what happened, treated me as a customer, and did the return on top of it. I offered to bring in all 4 toys, if that's truly what she would like me to do. She said it was not necessary and she fixed the situation. Honestly, if it wasn't for Amber, I probably would be canceling my Sam's Club Membership.

My point being, DAWN was rude, unwelcoming, and had an attitude from my very first interaction with her, before I even attempted to make a return. DAWN SHOULD NOT BE MAKING PAYING CUSTOMERS JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO MAKE A RETURN, AND SHE DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE TREATING AND TALKING TO PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY ARE THIEVES.

Called their pharmacy to see if a medication that was on backorder was in stock. They informed me that they couldn't tell me whether or not it is in stock until they've received a prescription for it. I worked in pharmacy for a decade, and that's absolutely ridiculous.

Go up
