Beautifully adorned with many frescoes, Byzantine chanting, and a Paraklesis to St Nectarios following the post Divine Liturgy lunch.

Also, this Church has regular fundraisers for Mother Markella and the Holy Monastery of the Theotokos the Life Giving Spring (Dunlap, CA). Thank God this Church loves Elder Ephraim and the Monasteries that, by God’s grace, he established here in America for the benefit of all the Orthodox Christians as well as those looking to become one.

Wonderful annual fundraising festival 10/5 & 10/6(early October every year). $5 admission. Mark your calendars for next year!

Fantastic social occasion along with great Greek food, drink, music and dancing. $1000 raffle 1st prize. Food hand prepared by members of the church, some directly from Greece. Prices for all budgets.

BBQ'd pork skewers, Greek salad, lamb chops, pastries, ice cream, fresh cooked little donuts, full bar, many other authentic Greek dishes. A taste of Greece!

Greek dance performers, group dancing and continuous live music.

Don't miss the next festival. And a great time was had by all!!!

Beautiful, peaceful church. 🙏
At certain days and hours it's few or no people, so you can enjoy the whole church by yourself.

They have the thin candles and the thick red candles. The prices are listed. 🕯

I'm glad they have good visiting hours, though I wish they would open earlier and close later, so that we can have it as a place for prayer after we get off work or early in the morning. I enjoyed my time praying here, I didn't attend the divine liturgy because I'm not Greek Orthodox, but I acknowledge the validity of their sacraments. I also visited once when they had a recording of chant playing in the temple which I found annoying, because I wanted a silent place to pray. Recorded music playing in a church makes it feel more like a museum exhibit than a holy place. The iconography and woodwork is exceptionally beautiful, in my humble and inexperienced opinion. The baptismal font, from a distance, looks especially gorgeous. I really love the look and the skillfully wrought iconography.
I wish they hadn't adopted the protestant American custom of having pews in the temple and followed their own tradition, from what I understand. I think the place feels much more theatrical with all the pews and it would feel much more like a sacred space without them. It's different in western churches, but in the eastern churches, I think they should avoid them. It's not too late, they can always remove them.
I love that there are devout laypeople who light candles and make the place feel a little more like a holy place.
The carpet is also a bit unfortunate, I think. You can use rugs on tile, I think it would be better.

Such a beautiful church, with a humble and pious priest. Words could never describe this place of worship but rather come and visit and partake in the amazing services provided. Witness everything first hand! Everyone is very welcoming and pleasant. Glory to God for allowing such churches to exist. Holy St. Nectarios pray for us sinners!

My son got married at Agios Nektarios church and gave a donation. Year later in order to baptize his first daughter he was asked minimum $750. This time, in order to baptize his second daughter he was asked $2000. I am wondering….are they running a business? Για το όνομα του Θεού. My son will not have enough money to feed his girls and pay the rent.

My father was dying and we reached out to the church for help. No reply. After my father passed we reached out for them to do the service... again no reply. My father supported this church to no end even leaving them $10,000 dollars in his will. Yes the check was cashed. No thank you. Disgusting organization.
